What is your maximum budget and minimum acceptable car?
(example: P800,000 and Vios 1.3L)

Obvious alternatives:
Honda City 1.5L E A/T
Honda Jazz 1.5L V A/T
Toyota Yaris 1.5L G A/T
Suzuki Swift 1.5L A/T
Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6L GLS A/T
Suzuki offers poor aftersales service.
The Jazz and Yaris offers the flexibility of a hatchback.
Lancer is a bigger car but its also the older body style.
The City is a sedan with big roomy interior inspite of it's small size.

The 1.5E of the city is way out of the budget of the TS since I think it's priced around 800k already. Compared to the vios' 750+k.
Correct me if I`m wrong tho'. But that's what I can remember.
The 1.3S fits the budget.
Yes sir GH is right. Interior space is roomier and atleast the instrument panel is in place.
I also do find the city's interior plastics MORE intact than the vios.

I would also consider the Yaris as well, same as a Vios 1.5G but cheaper.

January 4th, 2010 04:43 PM #10try lancer 1.6 GLS. old body nga lang sya pero for it's price, bang for the buck talaga to. Atska 6 speed A/t ito, meaning mas matipid kesa sa 4 speed a/t (long driving). also, with GH's list, eto na yata ang lowest in price na fully loaded na.
