Kung Vios 1.5G and City 1.3S lang strictly, I will get the former without hesitation! 200cc parin yan! ANd their fuel economy wouldn't make a difference! And I don't like Honda's lack of low end torque, I like the 1NZ's torque over low revs, very useful in city driving!

Kung ayaw mo porma ng jazz go for the city.

Kung hindi importante image sayo ng oto at porma, sa vios ka na lang para mas mura

    Which is better?

    Vios 1.5G A/T
    Pros:
    - Bigger displacement (1.5L)
    - Rear Disk Brakes
    - Optitron Guages
    - Power folding mirrors
    - Front Foglamps

    Cons:
    - Higher fuel consumption?
    - 4 speed A/T only
    - older model (Toyota launched the Vios 2007)
    - no iPod connection but has 6 speakers

    City 1.3S A/T
    Pros:
    - Newer model / design
    - 5 speed A/T
    - Flex Audio System
    - Bigger trunk space
    - more fuel efficient?
    - Telescopic steering wheel adjustment

    Cons:
    - Smaller displacement
    - No foglamps
    - rear drum brakes

    * sa mga tao dyan pareho lang ba sila ng efficiency sa fuel? wala kasing nasagot eh hehe

    * and hindi ba halos nagkakalayo ng price?

mas lamang sakin yung honda city in terms of porma now gusto ko malaman kung mas tipid sa gas tong 1.3s?

The Vios might have 4 speed only but its better programmed than Honda's 5 speed nga pero ang hina ng torque on low end... Pero isipin mo na din sa fuel economy the Vios might even have the upper hand especially in bumper to bumper traffic. Bigger engine, lighter body than the City. Higher power/weight ratio is desirable and the Vios trumps the 1.3 City there...

    Vios 1.5 AT
    107HP
    1110kg

    City 1.3AT
    98 HP
    1130kg

hindi kaya negligable na yung power to weight ratio difference between the two?,, btw this is 1.5 VS 1.3

Jazz/City 1.3L A/T ... the automatic tranny seems to result in a more slower car than the previous generation (with the CVT), especially during the acceleration from 60 to 100 kph when I tested the current cars.

I dont think a 1.3 City especially the AT variant will perform better than the Vios 1.5.

i would as well go with the Vios 1.5G since it's already a high-end car. it has more features for the price. plus the automatic transmission is a very good match to its 1.5 engine equating to good fuel mileage.

Halos di nagkakalayo ng fuel consumption nyan, in short parehong tipid sila sa gas.

Para sa akin malaki ang factor ng porma ng kotse. Masarap ang feeling kapag sinasabing ang ganda ng oto mo

If you prefer the looks ... get the City. But mostly this is just going to be typical for CITY driving only.

If you prefer power and features ... get the vios. Good for highway and city driving

If you prefer a vehicle that has good fuel consumption ... both can be.

If you prefer a vehicle that has the instrument panel in place ... the answer is so obvious.

If you want a sporty vehicle and with ENOUGH power ... get the vios, 1.5S

If you want a better sporty vehicle and with ENOUGH power too ... get the Vios TRD Sportivo. <- in this, you might need a larger budget. It's accessories are just plainly EXPENSIVE.

The Vios TRD Sportivo is just plain stupid. Spend P200K on "factory mods" for a Vios that doesn't even give you any more power than what you started with?

I'd rather get a Corolla or Civic or Lancer EX 2.0

^^ Plain stupid. Yes ... definitely YES !! :bwahaha:

Anyways ... some might prefer it. Since many ( may I somewhat copy sir Type100 sig. ) prefers to look fast rather than to go fast.

    Yes it's not practical too.

Sir GH, btw ... what is the final price slapped on it ? 900k ? :bike3:
