The City would have been a good choice over the Vios, on the basis of its merits alone. But, if rumors are to be believed, an all new (body) City will be launched in Thailand by the third quarter of this year.
Taxi operators and (even) the PNP (police) use the Vios for their fleet bec. of its alleged fuel efficiency and supposed "bullet-proof" performance under near 24 hr. operation times.

Rosa 21,400 insurance, chattel 17,900. Ganito po ba talaga dapat?
TIA!

CITY for ME..............spacious,safety,fuel efficiency, performance & technology....no question ask.......pangit nga lang talaga ang likod.......pero Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.....
VIOS......reliability,low-cost in maintenance because kahit saan talyer available ang parts, tipid din naman sa gas.........
Yes....the insurance cost is from 20,000-23,000 (HondaDealerAlabang/BPIMS)...try mo baka matawaran mo pa.......

April 15th, 2008 05:28 PM #698If you can afford the City with CVT tranny, then go for that. Imagine being able to shift semi-automatically with a push of a button.

if you really want to make use of that 7 speed semiautomatic, 1.5 VTEC is the choice. although many would say that the 1.3idsi cvt is still fun to drive, think how much better the 1.5 be. i own one. i can say that acceleration from zero to x is exhilirating. lalo na pag activate ng vtec, damang dama ang sipa * 4k above rpm.
the vios has only 4 speed regular automatic aight? i test drove the previous model of their 1.5G. iba talaga transmission. asthmatic ang dating 4 me.

April 24th, 2008 08:10 PM #700Thanks po ELP! Honda City na talaga napili namin. Tomorrow daw irerelease ang unit. Ang baba lang ng chattel sa BPI 12,352, insurance 18,575. Thanks ulit! God bless!
Getting a toyota would be ideal mostly for those looking for practicality or one who will use it...
