They can't install power windows because they don't know or are just to lazy to do so.

Even my dad had power windows installed on a 1975 Datsun. And that model didn't even have a variant with OEM power windows!

strayWOLF, my ultimate choiced before was crosswind-sportivo. But, when innova was introduced, I was surprisingly attracted to it. The next thing I've known...got my reservation.
What can you conclude when one product is giving promotions like this:

The Sportivo “Drive to Thrill” program offers potential buyers the opportunity to adequately familiarize themselves with the newest innovation in the AUV category. What’s more? All test drivers will automatically be given with a token and an entry coupon for a chance to win a 21” JVC TV (with rack) every month within the duration of the test drive program (January 17 up to May 08).

In my opinion, this promotion is to attract more customers. Perhaps, the sales is not going smoothly. For me, go for innova. In the next few years, you will expect isuzu to stop crosswind & opt for other model to counteract innova.

dunno ha? and no offense to the innova lovers, but i really don't like the shape and "tayo" ng innova. parang andun pa rin yung kaluluwa ng revo eh.

but back to the question, diba ibang classification naman ang innova and crosswind? the innova, as TPI claims is more on the MPV type, while everyone knows that the Crosswind is on the AUV type. so i guess they are of opposite worlds.

but if i am to choose, i would choose the Crosswind over the Innova. imho.
    sir happy..

    imho..

Hope that they put wider and bigger tires in future models. Parang pang motor yung gulong ang nipis.

I just made my reservation kanina at Toyota for the Innova. Problem ko naman ngayon is whether I'll have Toyota put up the power lock, keyless entry and back up sensor or sa labas ko nlang ipapagawa. Kung sa Toyota ko ba pinagawa ung accessories, is it included sa inssurance? =)

Accessories are not included sa insurance even if you get it in-house. You will have to fork up extra cash para ma-include sa coverage (not worth it, IMHO).

Sa labas mo na lang ipagawa. Mas mura and you can choose a good installer. The dealer won't know naman. And most dealers will just subcontract it to an outside shop anyways (then charge you double). Mitsubishi subcontracts those kinds of work to Winterpine. I don't know about Toyota.

just curious, what add-on's (accessories) that won't void the warranty of the car.

any accessories basta sa dealer mo binili at pinainstall, covered na ng warranty :D but the caveat is, super mahal ang accessories sa kanila. mura sa labas pero once they know about it, expect to hear "sir, void na ang warranty" hehehe

Yet my warranty still stood. The proof of burden still lies with the dealer as to whether what you have installed actually caused the failure for which you are claiming warranty work for.

And if all else fails, pwede mo namang sabihing pinakabit mo iyan at another Toyota dealer (hindi naman naguusap ang different dealers). Sayang lang money by getting stuff from the casa.

Sure iyan. Ayaw pang tawagan! Basta pumunta na lang daw ako. hehehe.

Go for Toyota Innova...So much has been said on this thread alone. I am a Revo owner, and my friend owns a Crosswind XUV, halos magkasabayan lang kaming bumili last qtr 2002. Yes, no doubt okey ang porma ng Xwind pero, pag nag start na tunog pampasaherong jeepney..maitim pa usok.. unlike my REVO.. curious ako kung ganon din ang tunog gaya ng xwind.. lumabas ako while naka idle ang revo ko, ok, maganda at tahimik ang makina, walang vibration at saka di nag va violate ng Clean Air act..

I suggest buy the Innova, kaya lang matagal talaga, I was waiting almost 1 1/2 month for my J Diesel model, kaya lang in the end dahil talagang sobrang tagal I just bought the E diesel variant last saturday 16 April. Mas mahal ng P 100,000 kasi P865,000 ang E. Pero sulit naman, talagang maganda ang Innova at saka for the next 6 years modelo pa kotse mo.

OK yan idea na yan, kaya lang I heard from Toyota people they will increase the prices of Innovas by May 1, so mas wise siguro pa-reserve na ng unit.
    Introductory price lang daw ngayon.

If you want a PROVEN and DEPENDABLE diesel engine, go for the Crosswind.
