    Tsikot Peeps,

I'd appreciate your inputs in comparing these 2 units. I'm currently in the market for a new ride. Usage for 4-5 family members and mostly city driving. I've seen the 2 units in the dealership and have seen their specs a million times but I'm really having a hard time deciding. Please also comment on their after sales service (Mazda vs Hyundai).

    CX7
    Price : 1.495
    2.5 Gasoline
    5 Seater

    Tucson
    Price : 1.458
    2.4 Gasoline
    5 Seater

    Thanks in advance guys!

Yep. Mahirap talaga pumili sa dalawa. Both are new and both are good looking.

Para saakin, una ang CX7 then the tucson comes next to it.

It's hard for the CX7 to beat the Tucson by objective measures. Then you add in stuff like the 5-year warranty and the (IMHO) generally better reputation for after sales service.

Kung subjective naman, I think the CX-7 looks better, but it's been out (globally) for quite some time, since 2006 ata. Kita naman sa design ng interior eh; the Tucson's looks much more modern.

So bottom line, I'd prefer the Tucson.

I'd go for the 2010 Tucson. CX7 might have better handling, but you get more for your money with the Tucson overall.

Tucson. bigla akong nag dalawang isip nung makita ko yan. MMC 3rd gen CR-V na sana eh. kaso this january pa. still waiting for my insurance to declare na total loss na yung car kong flood victim. :um:

maganda daw yung features ng AWD version. auto climate, push to start + smart key. not sure kung may traction control system. meron ba?

negative side lang for me, no diesel variant, no power retract side mirrors and no HID :hammer: :hammer:

    Of course the Tucson ix...

Forester??Avoid the 2 Liter variant..Looks dull IMHO..Ilabas nila ang Boxer Diesel dito..

    i would go with the

    2010 Tucson
    2.4 Gasoline
    5 Seater
    4WD

because it is the newest and most probably the value for money between the two. but if you want rarity, then go with the CX-7.

I agree. The 2.0L Forester is pretty expensive but it kinda looks low end. Probably because of its black side mirrors and black door handles usually reserved for low end models. Parang Vios J!

test drive both vehicles at least 20min or more.

then decide for yourself which one u like better.

both of these are nice cars, u can't go wrong with either.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

So far 11-3 (Tucson vs CX7) ang tally natin.

Test drove the CX7 at Mazda greenhills. Sayang sobrang trafic not enough time to properly assess the unit. Ok naman ride and handling, just like driving a sedan. Instruments are ok and head turner talaga CX7

Asked Hyundai for a test drive pero wala daw test drive unit ang hyundai marcos hi-way

Admittedly, feature for feature best bang for the buck ang tucson. CX7 units will be available in March if I reserve now

While the 2.4 tucson will be ready by January.
hirap mag decide - but with your inputs guys, big help talaga.
