December 17th, 2009 07:53 AM #31ser "Gen. Miting", these are the latest 2010 version. its facelifted, enhanced suspension, made more quiet meaning better NVH. new 2.5li engine (Dati puro 2.3DISI turbo charged engine) on a side note. Mazda did the responsible thing and scrapped those cars after the boat tipped bound for North America....

December 17th, 2009 05:47 PM #32mukhang di maganda ang the ff. sa Tucson...
**poor steering tuning...
**4WD suspension tuning, masyado daw matigas....
pero as usual, the final clincher nya is on your own taste and test drive....

Wrong to compare the two...
CX-7 is in CR/V - RAV4's league
Luxury Crossover SUV ang CX-7 - it has better handling and refined interiors. Has about the same FC as the current CR-V so dont complain about FE... Besides their best performing CX-7 is not even here but it has been proven that a CX-7 diesel can go toe to toe with any Tucson in FE, unfortunately you have to live in Europe to witness that.
Mas ka level ng Tucson -> Captiva, Escape, Tribute
Mahal din naman ang Tucson, have you seen the inhouse financing plans nila? preposterous ung 988k nagiging 1.2m na.
Entry level computation at 30% dp * 36mos (988k MT)
296,400 + (25, 129 * 36) = Php 1,201,044 --> mahal!Last edited by daimengrui; December 18th, 2009 at 07:46 PM.

I don't think its overpriced. Hindi sya maliit have you test driven the unit? You are probably not the target market for a CX-7.
People who buy Rav-4s and CR-Vs know this. Why do you think they still buy those vehicles despite their abysmal FE performance. Why? because they know fewer people will buy a CR-V or a RAV-4 than they would a Tucson for that reason alone. They buy it anyway because a) they have the money to maintain such a lofty gas requirement b) perception of social status dictates if your are driving a gas guzzler then you're filthy rich.
The same reason why people opt to buy an Accord rather than the usually better performing Camry. They simply want to be a cut above the rest.

1.5M Pesos for a CX-7 is too much..Kung naging 1.350M Pesos pa eh di napatawad ko pa yan...Already tried it and its good but still sana yung 2.3 Turbo ang nilabas nila.

Presyong Santa Fe na pero lacks 2 seats extra and gas engine pa (matakaw pa malamang being a Mazda)...
Choice I would have made as well.
2024 Innova Zenix 2.0 V CVT (non-HEV) vs Innova...
