Guys,

I always thought the leader in diesel engines is ISUZU but there are now 2 people I know that say HYUNDAI has taken over from ISUZU in diesel engine technology. They both said HYUNDAI CRDI is the best out there.

Is this true? I thought the ISUZU 4JJ1 is the best out there today?

I guess the criteria would be

Fuel economy (considering the same displacement)
Low maintenance
Durability
Power

Any input will be appreciated.
