Well, consider that the Santa Fe's third row seats aren't much worse than the Fortuner's, it's not that space-limited... still wouldn't make my friends ride there... ...but I do like the Santa Fe... it's a true competitor to the RAV4, and much more sophisticated than the pick-up based SUVs it's priced against.
