If you don't care about the 26k difference. Get the jazz. Yellow or White Pang-babae.

But if medyo in doubt ka, syempre City Tafetta White.

either the Jazz 1.5 or the City 1.5 both in Tafetta White shade is very much ok.

but the Suzuki Swift is also a very nice car although rear leg room is not that roomy.

    :dito:

And since its a suzuki. After-sales sucks. And the resale value will suffer much. But despite the negative comments about it, the swift isn't a bad car either, easy to modify.

Though, I still don't believe when someone claimed a 6 second run bet. 0-100kph. :nono:

The Swift is also narrow. People will be elbow to elbow at the front seat.

    * niwde11 - thanks for the tip. I will ask around again.

    * tidus1203 - change of heart? Bakt nga ba 6 out of 10 white ang boto? Kase bagong labas yung white? Ganda din ng whote na Jazz

    * Type 100 - thank you for your input. My nose bled! joke I don't really need the speed however, the 1.5L variant will the added HP and "hatak & hataw" feature will come into good use when I drive it to Baguio or whenever I come across steep slopes and climbs.

    * jut703 - thanks Jut! Will keep that in mind.

    * renzo_d10, Leoxe and GH - thank you thank you for all your input. Konting tiis nalang, I will make a decision na once I get all the computations.

The L13A 1.3L engine is actually a fine motor, especially now with VTEC in the Jazz - just not at its best mated to the automatic and its economy-biased programming. It's too eager to upshift to the next higher gear.

It's not all about speed either. When you have to overtake a slower car on a two-way road (and trust me, you will have to do this at some point), you'll want to minimize your "time exposed to danger" (i.e. to oncoming traffic) by performing the maneuver as quickly and as safely as possible, holding on to the acceleration as long as you can. In this circumstance, the last thing you want is a transmission that's overly eager to upshift.

You can learn to adapt and make the Jazz 1.3L A/T obey your will, but it's a little bit harder than it needs to be.

The 1.5L has a paddel shifters so you can downshift at will pero sa 1.3L its tricky. Of course M/T is still the best sayang walang 1.5L na M/T ang Jazz and City...

But when you do, you'll be wishing you got the 1.5 if you bought the 1.3AT instead.

If you don't do any highway driving, the 1.3 Jazz will be fine.

The 1.5 Liter City is much better than the 1.3 M/T variant ng City!

On the 1.3L A/T...no fiddling with flappy paddles, just mash your right foot on the go pedal and keep it to the floorboard!

True but you can also just ignore the paddles in the 1.5L A/T and mash the gas pedal and accelerate even faster. hehehe
