you seriously think that small cars are unstable at high speeds and will tumble over when passed by larger vehicles? haven't you considered motorcycles that goes faster than that or as fast but barely gets swept by the draft of larger vehicles? siguro naman you'll ask din about how crosswinds will affect? well it's the same thing.

+1 for the Jazz, Grey or Silver para kahit marumi hindi halata.

Alternatively Mitsubishi Mirage which is about to come out. Hype is super tipid raw sa gas.

4 in the back? no locally sourced car can do that comfortably.. unless you count the 4th body lying down over the three.. you don;t want a car.. get a van... bakit, nag-prisinta ka na bang maging school bus owner na, bus driver pa?
and if it easily floods in your area, perhaps you better get a diesel.. auv na lang kaya?
and who in his right mind would want to tempt fate by doing 160 in star..?
gosh.. if you were my son, i'd get you an air-cooled vw..
    heh heh.
    but seriously..
My car can fit 71 ... Maluwag pa!

My vote .... Jazz ... Fun to drive!

Well if thats the case, im just taking physics too seriously kasi may mga kotse na parang walang aerodynamics kapag nasa expressways napakabumpy at unstable.

Sir, actually that was my first choice. We headed to hyundai the very moment my mother told me that shes gonna buy me a new car, and then we checked the eon but when my mother closed the eon's door the whole car rattled and she was like "hey seriously, this thing can run?!" so she took a look at the elantra and fell in love with it.

kung kailangan mo talaga ung space for your house models, jazz is the way to go.

Dati nagkasya dun sa trunk ng jazz ko (hindi folded ung back seats)
    - 1 foldable crib
    - gamit ng 6 mos old baby
    - clothes for 4 adults for a 2 day trip

Nung hinatid ko ung tito ko sa airport, nagkasya naman ung 2 luggage nya (1 big, 1 regular) with small spaces pa. Again di pa naka-fold ung back seat nito.

Dati na-try ko na matulog dun sa likod habang naka-fold ung back seats. Kasya naman konting tiklop lang ng tuhod

Ilang house models kasya dun. Baka pati babaeng models kasya din dun. :hihihi:

"...elevated kantos ng taft.." wazzat? or, are you one of those who intentionally park on elevated sidewalks? if that's the case, that's inconsiderate of you..

don't know much about taft ave. but i hear it's pretty much a slosh fest whenever the rains come pouring down so i'm leaning towards your father's montero! siya na lang pagbilhin mo ng bagong kotse at ikaw na gumamit nung rig niya hehe

seriously, if you need the space, i'd recommend the jazz anyday of the week and twice on sunday.

stable at 160?? nakakatakot makasabay ng bus at 160kph... tsaka bawal yan up to 100 kph lang po tayo.... so wag mo na pangarapin mag patakbo ng 160 kph

jazz have a lowered stance so i think its stable even on high speeds

i was about to say the same thing, if you get the gls variant, you have a bit of toys which the unit has, sulit talaga! and not to mention, youre getting a bnew unit, less concerns on how the previous owner maintained the car, nabaha ba ito or what

No, im not one of those guys , the kanto's are literally much higher than the intersecting one,to the point na sasayad po talaga. And besides humps pa nga lang po sayad na yung kotse ko what more the sidewalk.

kung space din hanap mo dun ka na sa mga compact hatchback. whatever others say jazz is still subcompact and iba parin advantage ng compacts pag dating sa space (correct me if I'm wrong). but for this one, choose the Jazz. most guys like us would be bored with how the altis drives. I live in cainta and i study at ust, so pagdating sa baha medyo aware nako. just know which parts are safe to park para di ka kabahan pag malakas ang ulan habang may klase ka (which happened to me many times). pag jazz pa kinuha mo madali mong mappormahan sigurado, goodluck sir!

Guys ask ko lang if who uses better paint between the two because i only live in an apartelle so ubos na yung covered parking kaya sa uncovered ako nagpapark, so alin ba sa dalawa yung most likely na hindi agad kukupas as time goes by lets say color white.

Bili ka nalang ng car cover.

White dali manilaw niyan. Silver pinaka less-maintenance na kulay.

sir mag-aral ka na mag-detail. kahit anong ganda/tibay ng pintura kung lagi naman exposed sa araw, ulan, at usok, kailangan ng extra alaga.
