My dad is now thinking of getting a new car, gusto niya mas maliit ng konti sa montero then mas comfortable, ano kaya ang better choice sa dalawa? kasi almost same features and magkadikit lang price. Ang nagstop talaga saamin on getting xt is un price difference ng gas sa diesel saka isa lang casa with tucson naman okey sana kasi diesel pero alanganin parin ang dad ko sa korean cars dahil sa experience niya. Most of the time it will be used in the city and once or twice a week sa nlex. Need your opinions para di ako masisi ng dad ko. thank you very much

    Subaru Forester parin for me.

BUT you can't go wrong with the iX premium CRDi. Superb features and power too. :2thumbsup:

kung malayo kayo sa subaru dealer, forget it. Pero so far, wala naman ako naririnig na problems re sa fxt, kahit sa tuc din.

So either ways, wala kang pagsisisi. Matagal lang arrival ng unit mo if tuc kinuha mo, depende rin siguro sa dealer at SA.

IF I were you get the Tucson IX....driving while having a good glimpse of the stars at night together with your special someone is priceless....

Seriously speaking....Choose the tucson...reasons? great amounts of torque, its diesel, and its good looking...

though the forester is great too and accelerates well also but you will feel kinda guilty sometimes when you press hard on the pedal because of the fuel consumption. unlike with the tucson, even if you go hard on it, it will still be guilt free....and the consumption would still be great....and I would rather buy a Subaru sedan rather than a compact SUV if you know what I mean...

    Goodluck on choosing!

Sporty - Forester. A turbocharged gasoline is still better than a turbocharged diesel maskin common-rail pa sya!

Practicality and Features - Tucson. More toys, more everything except horses

I'd get a Forester XT over the Tux if I had the cash, because I value performance a lot. But for a daily drive, it's the Tucson CRDi FTW. But Hyundai is about to release the 200HP Santa Fe. MmmmMmmmM. Choices...choices...choices...

This is a toss up for me.

For exclusivity, Motortrend's 2009 SUV of the year would probably have an edge.

Feel that "love at first sight" thing might gravitate you to one over the other. In short, you cannot get wrong with either choice.

Ayoko sana maging bias kasi naka Tucson CRDi Premium ako.

totoo yung sinasabi ni locoroco777 na kahit mabigat ang paa mo hindi magiging masakit sa bulsa kasi mura ang diesel tapos tipid talaga ang CRDi. sabi mo pa naman most of the time nasa city. isipin mo na kung magkano magagastos mo sa gas ng Forester

Tucson mas maraming features. as in.

Yeah the Forester in the looks department looks a bit basic, its quite bland especially compared to the Tucson and CX-7...
