Both vehicles are worth your money.
But I salute Mitsubishi for providing a 4x4 MT option.

In general, toyota's resale value is higher than mitsubishi's, but when it comes to SUV's mukhang hindi ata..we'll see pag madami ng montero sport na binebenta. It will still depend on demand and availability and of course perceived value..If montero wont have any bad reputation that would stick like glue like fortuner's tagtag..it might have a chance to have better resale value..My basis is Nissan's Patrol. In general Nissan has a curse of having ridiculously low resale value, but its SUV's seem to be exempted.

Yeah but lets say Landcruiser vs Pajero mas mataas parin re-sale ng Landcruiser... So while SUV's are not as affected by depreciation compared to other vehicle types, brand still matters...

I think the resale value of Toyota is almost the same as Mitsubishi. It has always been that way eversince. This is because their earlier models were quite sturdy and parts were available everywhere and this has been ingrained to common folks especially here in the Phil.
Re the Land Cruiser, it's entirely a different beast especially the 70 and 80 series. It has to be compared to the LR Defender and not the Pajero.
To the TS, congratulations to your choice, as long as your happy with it!

The Land Cruiser is a notch above the Pajero AFAIK. Its the Prado that goes more head-to-head versus the Pajero.
Just like the Nissan trucks, the Mitsu trucks also have good resale value per my observations.
