July 28th, 2015 07:01 AM #2There is no contest here. The Lexus wins by a mile. Make that 2 miles.
A ton more power, superb interior, lots of tech, its super easy to maintain, better value for money, better performance etc.

Yep, the 335i is more comparable to the IS350. However, C&D rated the IS350 better than the BMW 335i.

July 28th, 2015 07:06 PM #6I was in your position a couple of months ago, and eventually chose the Lexus. Never been happier in my decision. Sure, the Lexus eats up more gas but it makes up for it in other aspects.
Test drive both and you will see what I mean. Good luck bro.

There's nothing enjoyable about city driving, unless I'm backriding with champagne and hdtv entertainment system to play with

July 28th, 2015 07:20 PM #8I remember when I was still choosing a luxury compact then, the SA at Audi was downplaying the other brands including Merc and BMW but most especially Lexus when he said the IS350 is just a glorified Corolla from which the IS was allegedly based.
I told him that he shouldn't compare since both are completely different cars and share almost nothing in common save for probably a few nuts and bolts. The Corolla is FWD, the Lexus is RWD.

July 30th, 2015 10:20 AM #10Had a 2012 318i before, it was a nightmare, after that I swore that I'll never buy another BMW again. The only exception to the rule is that if a nice 80's era 3 series (E30) comes along. But for newer BMW's? I'm done with them after the horrifying ordeal that I went through.
