Its a toss up between the cx5 and the tucson IMO for fuel efficiency if you don't mind the cash out. More toys also for the CX5 and it comes with yojin 3. As for parts, the rav 4 and the cx5 MIGHT have the same difficulty in finding parts for them outside the casa? Let's wait for input for owners of the current gen tucson; previous gen owners were able to source parts in Pasay according to their posts.

Tucson never. hyundais dont age well. Pero na-restore ko na Santa ko, it runs like new with 49t k mileage. Tinatamad lang ako i-post ang repair list ko ewith my SF last July until this week.
But the Banawe boys handled it very well. I only have one problem left, the airbag light ion.
Get a hyundai if you are a persevering person, I mean you can stomach your hyundai being dismantled in Banawe sidestreets. If you can pvercome this, your Hyundai will last. But if Casa boy ka, prepare to spend a lot for a hyundai coz the korreans designed eveything to be unserviceable really. Everything is hard to reach or dismantle, even just an actutator door lock.
Nakita ko na style ng koreans, classic bait and switch, they would woo ypu in big discounts with a European aesthetically designed car, tapos yari ka talaga sa ssrvicing

That's two hard to service and rare cars, I just restored to original clean slate: Hyundai sf 2007 and Ford Explorer 2005.
Sarap feeling instead of taking the easy way out of reselling andspend more on brand new.

Btwm to answer this thread. Any compact crossover as big as Rav4 and the likes, i dont recommend anymore, they're all gas guzzlers.
What you should think about is the ninja abilities of crossovers. Ninja meaning able to weave in and out of the current manila traffic. If you cant have dursbility of PPV boys and it's diesel efficiency, might as well make this criteria so that may advantsge ka naman
I have the Juke and boy it it's like X-wing fighter in Manila traffic. The Ecosport will do well to.

My 2006 Hyundai Sonata runs like new at 190,000 miles (305,775 km). Granted, the suspension on the right passenger side had some weakened parts a few years after we hit a deer head-on at 60 mph. If we hadn't hit the deer, they'd probably still be original. The first engine component to have serious problems was a leaky power steering assembly shortly before the car hit 190,000 miles. It turned out, only the rubber seals were bad.
The 3.3L V6 will happily go to its top power band although I limit the car to 100 mph because I'm not sure what other parts were weakened by that deer hit. The Lambda V6 is a very durable engine.
I bought the car in 2005. It's over 11 years old and full of dents and scratches. It also gets washed/waxed once a year (maybe). Upon returning here to Arizona, a lot of drivers disrespected me at first by speeding up and cutting me off. Perhaps, it was my New York license plates. Perhaps, it was the "old Hyundai junker" perception. But, I had had enough of their behavior. The next time I saw these same drivers on the way to work, I was ready for them. When they tried to do the same stunt, all they saw were tail lights pulling away. They had to settle for cutting off the car behind me.
Now? It's a nice easy drive to work because these former assholes now drive decently. They definitely notice my car. I know it's the car because when I drive my wife's car, they pull the same stunt. Of course, it's an 8-second car and nowhere as quick as my Sonata. I just let em go.

almost new previous gen Forts and Montero also challenge my 2006 SF sa roads. usually, i don't bother. but when I feel it, iniiwan ko sila. but i'm too old for that now.
sometimes, hindi ko na lang napapansin, sobrang asar na pala sila at iniiwan ko sila, malay ko ba nag-iisip ako tungkol sa work.
these Forts and Monteros owners, ewan ko ba. PLS. stop this attitude. we're driving big cars in narrow roads. anything can happen pag na lose out of control. anyway, kahit ano gawin you'll never win against the hyundai crdi crossovers, monocoque body kami noh.

tucson is 2.5 crdi and 2.0 gas
rav4 is 2.5 gas
by the way, currently owning 2013 monterosports and 2016 fortuner. so the new one will just be additional to replace the current 2013 altis 1.6v
For me, the Juke is the best 2016 gasoline crossover. Yun nga lang dapat payat ka tipong 130lbs - 145lbs ka lang. I really love my Juke in this monstrous traffic. Di ako gano stress
The car can get clausthrophobic at times when you use big cars too,

At that minimum price, and not your money (company money), I'll get the Tucson. hyundais are best drvien brand new for like up to four years. Pero dismayado talaga ako sa Hyundais, it doesnt age well,
Pero sarap suspension ng mga Hyundais. I suggest you check if they still incorporated the self-leveling multi-link suspension in the rear in this new batch of hyundais. If so, kunin mo na, eto kasi multi-link suspension na ito pang Europe. So you get this premium festure na present only sa benz and bmw, the hyundai deisgner is still that European who came from audi ba or bm if I remember correctly.
Among the 3 cuvs you mentioned, the best-looking ang Tucson, check Youtube videos comparing the 3. Meron yan both in America and Australia. They all chose the Tucson.
