Yung cx 3 trip ko, but its more like a car than suv. It also sits really low. I think it competes with hrv. Juke, ecosport, xv, asx are also in this segment I think, but all of these have higher ground clearance than the first 2. Meron din atang all new suzuki vitara, interesting din. But if looks could kill, cx-3 talaga for me.

Switch to a lower gear(1-2). Pretty sure you'll get the punch you need. My problem with the 2.0 is it takes forever to get past 120kph.
Those suggestions are good on the highway, but in the city even if you use lower gears with eco mode off it's still pretty sedate. And you're right, after 100Kph it feels like accelerating is a chore. And that's with only 2 passengers.

The Honda engine sounds good though, buttery smooth. The Forester is a bit noisy, maybe from the chain cvt?

The Honda is easier to live with if you only want a comfortable cruiser. Maintenance will be easier. If you really want the Forester that's the only choice though. Personally I'd rather live with a few negatives with the car I want than get something that may be better overall but doesn't appeal to me at all.

Right on bro. I have decided to settle for the forester after considering the other features (awd, moonroof, roof rails, 18" wheels, electric lift gate). Actually I paid reservations with Honda, Subaru and Mazda but finally decided for the forester after inspecting the units, reading reviews and asking opinions here from the tsikoters.

    Way to go bro!

Pinag-isipan talaga ang mga features at gawa ng Forester... So, value for money!.. ....Yeah!

I think with my line of work (and my age bracket) the fozie would also complement as compared to the cx5 which is more for millenials like *jut :D. So im bitting the bullet today.
    Hahaha!

Valentine's gift for you pala (or for wifey?)....

    Congratulations bro!

Not with the premium version. I think sa XT or sa 2.5 sports.

Vday gift sa amin dalawa bro, pula eh.

Replacement kay livina kasi nalalakihan na ako. The reliable jimny is still the back up car since I cant let it go after so many times it rescued me from the flood. May senti value na si jimny.

Congrats! The thing I won't forget with the Forester is the build quality. Kahit yung mga singit-singit between panels, underneath the hood, chassis etc smoothly finished as if titingnan din sya like the outer panels. I wish other Japanese brands did this too.
