it'll be the same 2.0 Ecoblue engine for both Ford and Vw. single and bi-turbo.

Kags favorite CR-V sales is at an all time high. CR-V sold 1,775 units from January to June 2018 . The CR-V’s feat represents a 569 percent year-on-year growth in 2018 thus far.

Furthermore, Honda’s first-ever turbodiesel 7-seater SUV, the CR-V sold 1,775 units from January to June 2018 for a cumulative total of 5,205 units so far.
even weirder they sold more now? 5205-1775 = 3430 units nabenta nila CRV since Aug 2017 to Dec 2017.
if for some pure luck at madami bumile sa kanila ng CRV ngaun starting July to Dec despite the inflation, rising food prices etc, then that 5x na kineclaim nila before year end would beat the sales numbers of both the Fortuner and the Montero combined.

where do they get this computation ano yun sulat sulat na lang 569%, growth, best-selling SUV sa article somehow it will magically achieve it.

[emoji23]

As per the article, Honda has sold 5,205 SUVs from January to Junr 2018. 1,775 CRVs and 2,191 BRVs. So 1,239 other SUVs (HRV and Pilot).

569% year on year growth means that if there were 1,775 CRVs sold from Jan-June 2018, then only 312 CRVs were sold from Jan-June 2017.

The main reason for the 569% year-on-year growth covering January to June is because of the low base last year. The all new model was launched in August 2017 although balitang balita na yung new model from other markets as early late 2016. As is typical for a car's sales life cycle, people do not want to get the outgoing CR-V anymore during the early part of 2017 since may bagong modelo na parating na. This explains the unusually low base from which the current first half figures are being compared against.

In perspective, marami talagang humabol last year sa new CR-V because aside from being a fresh new model, buyers also wanted to avoid the higher tax. That is why Honda sold 3,430 units of the new CR-V from August to December of 2017 (ave. of 686 units/mo.) compared to only 1,775 from January to June of 2018 (ave. of 296 units/mo.). The dramatic slow down in sales in 2018 is painfully obvious.

569% year on year growth means that if there were 1,775 CRVs sold from Jan-June 2018, then only 312 CRVs were sold from Jan-June 2017.
Honda did not sell 312 CR-Vs in the first half of 2017, they should have sold 265 units to achieve a year-on-year growth of 570% [(1,775/265)-1] x 100.

1,775 is 569% of 312, but this is not how growth is expressed. If HCPI indeed sold 312 CR-Vs in 1H17, then either HCPI or CG made a mistake in reporting the growth rate because it should be 469% and not 569%.

ganun yun 5205 kasama pa yun BRV saka HRV

tapos yun 569% growth ng current gen CRv na pinagmamalaki was compared to this fugly previous model

c'mon juts pinag mashup mashup yun article to include the sales of all their SUVs to come up with 5205 units tapos yun 569% eh binase sa lumang old model ang improvement ng sales. WTF? why would one compare the sales of new model sa lumang model

leading yun article kasi ang sales data ng Montero and Fortuner is in the 9000++ range, by portraying that 5205 units na kasama pala BRV and HRV and who knows baka mobilio lumalabas na di naman kahihiya ang sales figure na 5000 units

hinde ko talaga ma-comprehend ang article kasi sinadya talaga guluhin ang nagbabasa.

saka tignan mo naman to oh sabi ng writer

Sales for the first-half of 2018 is down compared to the same period last year because buyers advanced their car purchases ahead of the TRAIN Law’s implementation.
eh kung sinasabi nya na 312 lang nabenta crv ng first half ng 2017, pano nya sinabi na down. eh 1775 nga nabenta ng first half ng 2018. pero tapos biglang sabay bawi na may 569% increase naman daw kasi 312 lang nabenta nun first semi-annual ng 2017. sobrang labo grabe!

Those impressive numbers mean that the BR-V is the second-best-selling sub-compact SUV beating both the Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Rush. Meanwhile, the CR-V is the country’s best-selling compact SUV beating the Hyundai Tucson and Subaru Forester.
tapos eto pinaka ewan sa lahat. na-beat daw ng BRV with those impressive numbers eh sira-ulo pala tong writer na to eh, last 2 month ago lang nilabas ang Xpander saka Rush while the Xpander is undersupplied pa. but wait there's more, the CRV became the country's best-selling compact SUV DAW, nakalimutan nya at nya na may Ecosport pa. ikinumpara pa sa Subaru eh halos mamalimos na nga ang Subaru ng sales kaka-discount ng overpriced line up nila

since down na naman ang total July car sales, what's really gonna happen, mag bawas na siguro ng mga redundant cars na hinde naman mabile lang ASX, sa Subaru may XV na may Forester pa pareho naman bagsak sa sales, and of course the Mazdas, CX5, CX3, mazda2, mazda3, mazda6 dami dami products pero wala pa din, Toyota siguro itigil na RAV4 and the Corolla, though the Corolla is still selling pero nasa standards ba ng Toyota yan ganyan kahina na sales ng Corolla. wala sa kaledad nila. maybe it's time to let the name brand Corolla die down na, Vios is king na eh, then syempre meron pa naman Wigo sa entry-level dept.

I was in BGC last Saturday, grabe na ang Ford Ecosport Titanium 1.168M! may bibile pa kaya neto?
