    Mitsubishi tried to differentiate their product from the rest of the market by making it sporty, polarizing whatnot. Looks like a sedan on stilts. It also doesn't help that the interior actually feels tighter with those weird metallic bits on door panels and transmission tunnel. Add to that the 3rd row kiddie seats with the knees-up position. Only reason they're keeping up with sales are the huge discounts being offered, to think that this is just a few months old.

    The rest adopted a no-nonsense approach, improving on the interior and cabin space while retaining the classic SUV looks.

    mitsubishi should prepare. the discounts are not helpiing. they will certainly lose this PPV battle for years to come. the signs are there na

    kung ako sa kanila i price na lang nila ang 4x4 model sa 4x2 ng others manufscturers. now, that is something new. ditch all their 4x2 lineup nad just sell one variant 4x4.

    so far wala pang nakakaisip neto sa mga PPv manufacturer. eh ano ba naman ang 4x4 isang transfer case lang at isang front differential lang dagdag saka switch sa center board , does it really cost that much ?

    this will certainly make people think thrice. a 4x4 PPV at less than 1.5M wow san ka pa, pnly Mitsu can do this magic hehe

    If i remember correctly the knees up 3rd row is actually not bad according to topgear staff. Lol

    But who drives their 7seat suv and have all 7seats occupied? Only time we had more than 5 was when there was once a year family gathering.

    Unrealistic proposal. Mmpc is and will retain number2 position for many years.

    I think their next move is offering a 5yr warranty.

    Surely the sales will increase if they drop prices further. The question is if the increase in sales will be enough to compensate for the lower unit margins.

    Methinks that even if priced low, the Montero's rear will still turn away many buyers. Sayang because the front and interior both look really nice, and the engine/specs are actually good.

    Nakakatawa lang na all new model kailangang discountan ng malaki para lang bumenta.

    Maybe the principal is favoring top line over bottom line to ensure market share, what with the FC scandal in their local market and all. They probably can't afford to lose more market share in the few markets they're doing well in.

    Not surprised. toyotas got a decent range of products "for all" segments.

    Fort for suv
    Hilux for pickup
    Hiace for that segment
    Altis for the compacts
    Vios&yaris for sub compact
    Wigo for sub compact
    Innova for that segment
    Avanza for that segment.
    Meron pa luxury and hybrid segment offerings

    Their TNGA platform is almost here...

    Ford and mitsu and honda kulang kulang ang offering...

    If ford brought in the transit...

    If mitsu had the xm available now...and an all new L300.. an all new lancer.. an all new adventure...

    your right there so many toyota vehicles to compete for so mitsubishi and ford should add more to their fleet to match the heavyweight

    They cannot match toyota fortunately. Honda cannot make pickups and suvs for the asean market.

    Ford cannot make mpvs and vans...hiace innova avanza. Huge market..

    Mitsubishi will soon come out with the XM. I was hoping they make a new adventure. But it seems they dont have the resources to do so. Theyre idiots for letting the innova let lose. There is no more toyota revo. And they still have the adventlol. Anti progressive imo

    To be more specific:
    HiAce is MPV segment;
    Innova is APV segment;
    Avanza is Mini-MPV segment.

    The fuzion could have given the prev gen innova a good fight if it had a diesel variant. I wonder why they dint do it. 4d56 lang naman na non turbo at turbo version lang ok na.
