misleading report. the total sales of Toyota last year was 150K units. CAMPI claims it grew by 25%, so are we looking at almost 300K units this year.

even Mitsu's report is misleading, telling us 4870 sales which is better than January, which if we multiply by 12, that's less than 60k units for 2016. as compared to there 2015 sales of 75k

bagsak ang car sales ngaun, ano ba? we are entering another global financial meltdown, stop cooking the books, or in this case cooking the media

most millennials don't want to get these big sized suvs anymore coz of traffic efficacy. hay, ganito na ba talaga media ngaun. tsk tsk.

Too many factors to consider before concluding.

    1. Not many spend alot after the 13th month pay. Filipinos tend to spend on family.

    2. Not too many takers of stupid low dp.

    3. The Fortuner had issue with inventory. The Indonesian assembly factory was late.

4.Everests/Muxs/Ertigas/Celerios are selling very well. Honda/Ford/Suzuki is capturing a bigger share of the market. Their pricing is very competitive relative to the 2 big players.

    5. Toyota price increase on their newer/updated models turned off alot of buyers for sure.

    6. Diesel powered vehicles will always sell well. Everyday we see the diesel prices at gasoline stations. Its a huge factor for most buyer.

Honestly I believe their sales figures. Why the heck would they make up numbers?

January and February are literally the two slowest-selling months of the year. You can't just simply multiply February's sales by 12 to be representative of the year as other months, eg. June and December, sell significantly more compared to February.

Both Toyota's and Mitsubishi's sales grew in February 2016 compared to February 2015.

Another month of 1100+ Everests sold. Nearing or surpassed 10000 units sold...havent been doing the tally. If they continue selling 1000ish per month, they will will perform like the fortuner last year. A huge achievement from FordPh.

YoY sales 46 better than last year. Very good stuff. If the trend continue they will get 10% market share at the end of the year.

    Q1

    Mitsubish MS 4126 units
Ford Everest 3530 units (hounded by supply)
Isuzu MUx 2700 (interpolated)(hounded by supply)

Toyota Fort numbers arent available. But Indonesia is trying to supply as fast as they can for our market. This should have been manufactured locally together with the Innova. Sayang job opportunity.

MUX sales is down because of newer suvs. They really have to step up their offerings. Even though they brought in the 2016 Mux with slightly updated interior&dash.

They really need to bring in their "blue power" marketing locally. These are newer engines and 6speed automatic transmissions.

Last year they were averaging 700-2000 units in Thailand. When the Forts & Montero sports & Everests arrived, their February sales didn't even get 100. They only sold an abysmal 71 units. The March sales report in thailand has yet to be published.

Good Job mitsubishi for prioritizing 1500 units a month. If they continue the trend they will sell over 18000 units with their so called discount pricing.

Kailangan gawin ng mitsubishi magpalugi. Kasi kung mamahalan pa nila montero eh sa negative media inabot dahil sa sudden unintended acceleration eh babagsak mga diesel model nila.
