4800+ MU-X, thats over 800units per month

I think they will reach 10k+ now that India is also assembling units. I wonder if IsuzuPH will assemble the MU-x locally next year along side the DMax

Honestly I am dissapointed with the MU-X sales since it couldn't even reach #2 against a very aging competition (Everest, Fortuner, Montero Sport). Is may be because of few dealerships compared to the market leaders, limited supply, or those ridiculous dealer incentives/customer service. Maybe the relatively weaker engine (based on hp and torque ratings) or a less value for money 4x4 as perceived by some?

Isuzu may have strong following in the province due to its reliable and dependable image, but they shouldn't be contented with that. Their future is uncertain given the impending arrival of its competition late this year or early next year.

Hopefully they bring the assembly here... more job for Filipinos.

Only reason for 5000 sales is the supply. Isuzu Thailand is at capacity already.

Pag may demand, supply will always be there naturally... It only means there is not enough demand for isuzu to manufacture more mux...

Yung majority ng masa na pabili ng suv na ayaw na mag isip, ang default setting niyan fortuner, followed closely by montero, tapos magkakatalo nalang sa showroom, availability of units, ahente at promo promo.

All others like isuzu, chevy and ford, mga ayaw sa bandwagon. At may specific na gusto sa chevy malakas na makina, ford, maganda daw, isuzu matibay daw.

^ i agree. O kaya yung mga hindi maalam sa sasakyan kahit gusto nila bumili ng chevy o ford, magsusurvey muna sa buong angkan, sigurado tututol sila. Kaya end up sa toyota at mitsubishi pa rin

IMO ang bumibili ng MU-X fuel efficiency ang nasa isip at alam to ng Isuzu Philippines, Ito image ng Isuzu.
Hangang ngayon nasa isip padin nila na basta diesel = Isuzu Matipid
Kaya magtataka ka madami padin bumibili ng Crosswind na actually kahit luma na reliable naman.

Hindi lahat ng buyer alam na may forum na pwede kumuha ng info, yung iba kung anu kinalakihan sa family ayun din ang binibili.
Yung iba nadadaan sa promo, iba iba factors.

The FJ is in the same price range as the fortuner, i. e., relatively affordable. Buyers probably buy it as their special events car. It's a true gas guzzler..

Aside from toyota's arguably superior engineering, Toyota also encourages third party parts manufacture. These make Toyota maintenance easier and cheaper.

Isuzu has sold 800 MUX units per month for the first 6months of this year. As reported in sunstar

Thats close to 6000 units this year. They have almost sold 10000 units since launch last year. 👍

more cars sold, more traffic. there should be a penalty of every car sold. say... 100,000 per car. these money will be used for road widening and construction of flyover. the use of old isuzu engines in jeepney and busses should be stop. and there will be enough funds for electric bus and jeepney.

Bigyan mo lang ng better choice ang car owners to move around, I'm sure many will reduce their daily driving.

Alam naman yan ng govt officials natin kung papaano kaso ayaw nilang gawin. I'm sure they have been to Japan, Hongkong or Singapore.
