Kung ako, Vios J ang kukunin ko, never mind that its being used as a taxi at least mas marami ang parts nyan outside the casa once its out of the warranty period.

    old hyundai accent...
    1. crdi diesel
    2. fast, very fast
    3. manual
    4. very fuel efficient

though the pms might be a bit higher than a gasoline subcompact, the gains due to its fuel efficiency will prove to be more... just make sure that you take care of the turbo...

Since you know little about cars, it's best to get a brand new vehicle. You'll have a worry free car for the first 3 years. I'll get a Vios.

2nd hand Hyundai Accent 1.5CRDi, Hyundai Starex GRX 2.5CRDi, Kia Carens 2.0CRDi, Ford Focus 2.0TDCi, Toyota Innova 2.5D4D or dagdag ng konti and get the Kia Carnival 2.9CRDi

Gasoline is expensive nowadays. I'd rather spend a bit more on motor oil a bit more frequently once in a while than refill my tank every week with twice or even more of the amount that I would in a diesel.

    Thank you for your info...

would that have a big difference if i will buy one year old car compare to brandnew?

As to FC my requirement at least the car avg to 9-10km/Liter.

About Accent, i heard some taxi operator is having hard time maintainign their unit after one year due various problem specially ung pang-ilalim.

Since you want to have that kind of average fc, the accent, being a diesel subcompact, will likely fit in. I'm not sure about those issues (as stated by those taxi operators having problems) but all cars after some time, will eventually have problems of sort. Its how we use them and take care of them from time to time that would determine how it will last and perform

Since ginamit naman silang taxi, its understandable na mas mabilis magkaroon ng problema kesa sa private unit. Pero wala naman akong nababasa dito sa forum ng mga nagkaroon ng major problems sa accent nila

i'm sorry but how is a 110hp car that porbably goes 0-100kmh in 25-30 seconds fast? it's a great little car but it's not even close to being fast at all.

anyway i agree with miss cathy, the vios would be the best choice for FC, space, comfort, maintenance cost and resale value.

accent is definitely faster than say; vios,altis,fiesta,2.5d4d toyotas and the like. not sure if it can outrun an FD. would surely like to hear FD owners out there.hehe

+1 on the vios. nothing beats its value for money.

Actually the old Accent is no slouch in the acceleration department as all CRDi VGT's are...

But in all other aspects its mediocre... Reliability, safety, features, comfort all mediocre...

to TS, sayang, RESALE VALUE pala ang priority mo instead dun sa 5 category. Lancer cedia would have sufficed. With your current choices, I'll pick Vios. Be it J or E variant (though I favor the J variant since pwede ka naman magpalit ng mags. IMO, pangit ang stock mags ng E).
