4x2- dmax
4x4- hilux din. pero hindi yung d4d
new strada would be the best choice if you include it as one of the choices- priced at 1.23M for the top of the line A/t version with trraction control, abs, ebd, dual airbags, 140hp 2.5 crdi engine - i think its a truck waiting for
yes. apparently, the ride of Hilux is much bouncier than the Dmax, due to its heavier payload. saka di hamak na mas malaki yung Hilux.
There is no Hi-Lux 4x4 with no diesel D4-D. All 4x4s come with the 3.0 D4-D.Originally Posted by raimund
Does anyone know the fuel consumption of 3.0 Dmax and hilux 2.5 d4d crdi engine. Our innova 2.5 dieseli can go 9.6 km/l city driving. but yung fortunner 3.0 can only do 7 km/l. Yung Dmax kasi hindi pa CRDI. so baka mas malakas pa sa fortunner.
Are talking about the current D-Max? The current D-Max's engine (4JH-1 ) is already CRDi.Originally Posted by thebest
Number001,
The current DMAX engine is NON-CRDI (I own one). The Alterra has a CRDi engine though.
FYI, please.

Edit: Yep, I see it now. No mention of the word CRDi.
Number001,
Yup computerized lang siya. I think this is the main reason why its virtually smokeless. As for the crdi, parang mas ok pa nga sakin ang non crdi, at least safe ako from injector fouling.
d-max din diesel engine kasi ang labanan. imo mas tested na ang reliability and durability ng isuzu diesel engine compare to toyota.
actually in thailand all the new D-max have the same engine as the alterra. dnt no y isuzu hasnt brought them hir yet. its hard to find a new non CRDi D-max in thailand.i guess wer getting all the non CRDI hir. heheh, personally i like the hilux for the fact dat its bigger than the Dmax.oh and if u find it hard to park. then just learn how to drive.
