The current DMAX engine is NON-CRDI (I own one). The Alterra has a CRDi engine though.

Yup computerized lang siya. I think this is the main reason why its virtually smokeless. As for the crdi, parang mas ok pa nga sakin ang non crdi, at least safe ako from injector fouling.

d-max din diesel engine kasi ang labanan. imo mas tested na ang reliability and durability ng isuzu diesel engine compare to toyota.

July 22nd, 2006 05:56 PM #40actually in thailand all the new D-max have the same engine as the alterra. dnt no y isuzu hasnt brought them hir yet. its hard to find a new non CRDi D-max in thailand.i guess wer getting all the non CRDI hir. heheh, personally i like the hilux for the fact dat its bigger than the Dmax.oh and if u find it hard to park. then just learn how to drive.
