only test drving both cars will make your mind a bit clearer! hehe! sabi nga sa transformers, "the driver don't pick the car... the car pick the driver" choose the car that will really suit your needs and not the car that suits other's eyes

PORSCHE for timeless beauty, PORSCHE for performance. theres no such thing as a poor man's porsche.

the boxter is nice car, it's a PORSCHE!

but i think the Z4 has more "classic" potential.

In England, the tale of a poorman's Porsche is real imo.

But I wouldn't mind about that. A Porsche is a Porsche and it's going to be a classic in the future.

The Porsche Boxster gets my vote.

In 2003 i used and drove a Yellow '03 Porsche Boxster S at an event/pageant that one of my cousins attended (she was one of the contestants). We used it as her parade car and i must say it really makes you feel "gwapo"

On the freeway you can really feel the bumps but the control is there. It's just so tempting to push it hard. It does drive like a go kart and i gotta love the smooth shifting 250hp flat six

The only thing i didn't like is the audio system hehehe

If you love Flat or Horizontally opposed motors then the Porsche is for you

They're sometimes called Boxer Engines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_engine

A Porsche Boxster/Cayman is a mid engine rear wheel drive flat six roadster/coupe while the BMW Z4/M series is a front engine rear wheel drive inline six roadster/coupe.

does it refer to where the engine is placed?
Back-read through this thread and you'll see I answered this particular question, along with its handling-related issues

hey guys, as requested, i'm posting pics of my latest baby... a porsche boxster s in speed yellow. i got lucky when the color i've been lusting for came just right in time before i almost bought a silver one. it comes w/ a removable hard top and a set of carrera mags so guess i could say i got a good deal? haha *justifying my purchase*, plus of course it's an S = sport edition. i'm truly delighted w/ this car, thanx for all the relevant info i got from helpful tsikoteers, they're very well appreciated. til my next car search!

    Congratulations!
Its the color you want, its the more powerful "S" version, it has optional wheels... looks like a good deal.

PS: Try to take some outdoor shots when you have the time.

I would suggest you drop by PGA and inquire. It was 100k+ I think when my friend bought with installation and painting. Worth it IMO
