Such that other Jap, Am or even Euro sports cars would be envious of. ;) e.g. nurburgring lap times, a record[SIZE=2] 50 consecutive official race wins[/SIZE][SIZE=2],[/SIZE] was banned in a race due to its gnarly performance, the only known race car to be given a handicap of 30 kilos every time it races! etc. etc. just to name a few. Thats why it was nicked "Godzilla" by foreigners due to its performance on the track.

Right on! The Calsonic R32 GT-R was so good, it got AWD banned in Group-A.

No offense to nissan owners ha. Nissan is okay naman (in fact, we're using Nissan Armada right now and i find it okay, medyo squeaky lang ang likod). It's just that, in this comparo (jap vs germans), i'd always go for the Germans.

uummm... not really. It depends e. U know my uncle is in the car buy n' sell biz for almost a decade now.. and based on experience we can say that quality of Jap cars are also at par w/ euro one's. Some are lemons pa nga eh. Yes, if u ride on a benz or bmw its very comfy pro if u ride a new camry or cefiro its comfy too.. just don't compare it to the Jap compacts such as civics or sentras ha. Much more so when high end brands of nissan and toyota, infiniti and lexus comes into play... international reviews of vehicles made by them always made bmw or benz a run for their money. U know thats why my relatives back in the states would call euro car lovers "euro snobs", they tend to look down on other car manufacturer not euro based. But remember the so called "big 3" Jap automakers (Toyota, Nissan and Honda) are beating the euros in terms of overall market share worldwide.
Pero bottomline, like what brother Red XIII said these cars are targetting diff. market.. M5 is a luxury sportscar (errr... w/ four doors), the Z-tune GTR is a supercar, they are indeed different. Yeah its a nissan, a nissan car tagged w/ the same price of a BMW top of the line... hmmm...
