^^^ Nah, I bet you still would've fallen asleep even if it was your M/T car you were driving that time.
I've driven my A/T car from Pampanga to Pagudpud without feeling sleepy, yet when I was driving our family car more than a decade ago, a M/T Mits Galant, I fell asleep at the wheel after 15kms because I was tired.
Bottom line: kondisyon ng katawan.

i think i disagree with this kasi let say you are driving long distance dont tell me that you're gonna change gear every time just to keep you awake AFAIK once you are on last gear 5th or 6th on long stretch so only gas pedal na lang ang tinatapakan mo just the same in auto tranny and i dont know what you think on those driving auto tranny but hey in other countries most of their cars are Automatic and long streeeecth hi-way
PEACE just drive safely M/T or A/T......

I don't find A/T boring. Like any innovation, it's meant to make driving easier, and to me, fun and worthwhile. Been driving 20 years and I've only started driving an A/T for the last 2 or 3 years. That said, I'm never going back to driving an M/T. Modern A/T's have gone smarter compared to models from a decade or so ago and can pretty much shift like a normal driver would.
If you still think A/T is boring, why not complete the ensemble and go back to non-powered steering, manual windows and door locks to get back that "it's all you" feeling? :D

+10000000000!
Sa "pawis-steering" pa lang, magmumura ka na. The first Lancer Pizzas were notorious for this. But some non-power steering vehicles, like my single-cab Mits L-200, weren't "pawis-steering" at all. In fact, I prefer that type over power-steering because no hydraulic hoses and what-have-you's will ever give you problems.

Like I said:
"More than a decade" means I was 10+ years YOUNGER and my body was in better shape.
i think a/t was made for girls to drive...if i see boys driving a/t..you know what i mean...Last edited by woohoo; September 28th, 2009 at 11:16 AM.

I'd like to have a 6 speed manual for a "toy car".
But for slogging along traffic or for those hanging moments... I'd like to have a certain 6 speed dual clutch AT car, please.
Heard through the grapevine that the Atto 2 is going to be released next. The most likely date is...
