and besides, theres such a thing as external NVH. search mo sa wiki. BS ung statement ni yebo na internal lang un. sorry mods, i just cant take that statement na obviously palusot lang. [emoji111]🏻️
Wala nga ako paki sa labas kasi nasa loob naman ako. May electronic noise cancellation kaya tahimik sa loob.

I think the competition on being the most quiet at idle will be between the Fortuner vs the Monterosport. Belt driven diesels mas swabe talaga. But definitely pinaka maingay TBz. MUX (2.5) and Everest will be somewhere in the middle.
I read somewhere that the GD engines of Toyota and the 4N15 MIVEC diesel engine of Mitsubishi are already equipped with timing chains. TBZ is the noisiest right now even if it is equipped with timing belt. Not sure which is the second noisiest.

Thanks for the correction. Nasa isip ko 1kd-ftv. 😂 I checked just now, yes timing chain na nga pareho. Pero both of them feature some kind of vibration management and 'frictionless chains' kaya siguro mas swabe vs isuzu's 4jk1/4jj1.

Sino na may decibel meter? Para magawa natin sa PPV meet ;)

it's a big plus kung tahimik sa loob ng cabin, its typical sa mga high end cars o luxury suv. yung sasakyan ng agency namin dito sa overseas na ginagamit kapag inihahatid/sundo kami sa airport ay lexus lx saka toyota sequoia, between the 2 mas tahimik yung lexus, as in sobrang tahimik kapag tumatakbo. halos di mo nga marinig ugong ng makina pati gulong. and if you are a fan of car audio at sq ang type mo, mas gugustuhin mo tahimik yung cabin. i regreted tuloy installing a noisy magnaflow muffler

Pag sinabing nvh sa loob ng kotse yun with all windows closed.
then dont say full of BS comments like you said in the second paragraph. [emoji12]

lichking, NVH refers to the noise, vibration and harness which is determined when you're inside the car and all windows are closed. yebo doesn't say BS in his statement.

Di ba you know I already test drove the Everest and the Montero? Between the 2 PPVs, the Everest has the better NVH because of the noise canceling feature. I have proven this thrice already.

I just don't know, but I think gumaganti ka lang kay yebo for calling you out before on your misleading statement regarding the Montero's RPM on different speeds. And don't get offended, between the 2 of you, ikaw ang lumalabas na fanboy. Pinapatamaan mo lang ang sarili mo sa reply mo kay glenn manikis.

Both Everest and Montero are great PPVs. Don't get me wrong. I already test drove both on uneven pavements and on open roads. In terms of NVH levels and features and value for money, the Everest is the better PPV. In terms of powertrain and riding comfort, the Montero is the better PPV.

Tunog ng makina (sa labas ng oto) - mas tahimik monty

Tunog ng makina (sa loob ng oto) - eve due to noise cancelling
