I guess now is the time to plunk my hard earned money. My mind is still debating between the outgoing Fortuner, yung MT (specs still good), 2.5 MUX MT or the lowest variant Everest (Ambiente M/T). I guess it will boil down to which between the dealers can deliver the unit in two (2) days time (would that be unreasonable?). Any helpful suggestions will be welcome. Comfort, space and reliability prime considerations.

IMO, comfort goes to Everest (ride/suspension), space would be a close fight but interior design goes to the Eve then, reliability would go to Fort, next MUX last Eve.

I think all 3 models are readily available.

For me outgoing Fort, (kasi yun ang kinuha ko hehehe) kidding aside kaya yun ang pinili ko kasi yun ang gusto ko, easy to maintain, reliable, parts are available (anywhere) & cheap.

My two sister-in-laws has both the MUX 2.5 M/T and the outgoing Fort (Yung naka kits na ewan. Priced at 1.5m ata yun) Well, nakakadisappoint yung interior nung MUX. Ang sarap katukin lahat ng mahahawakan mo sa interior. Adequate na rin for long drives for both cars. Pero for cars sa category na to, much better parin > 3.0 engines. Unless it's the crdi of the koreans. Yun nga lang, sirain
