Madami na Nga, parts Sa Banawe... You can get it pa at a cheap price.... Kahit nga accesories madaming madami na...
Previous models of ford, hindi ganun kadami ang nagbebenta... Ngayon because of the no. Of rangers sold.. And dami na din lumabas na parts..
Law of supply and demand Lang yan...
Ive been raring to go to Banawe to get me some goodies for my new Eve ride, kaya lang I always have this impression na maraming di mapagkatiwalaan na store dun. Do you guys have any suggestion as to which store ang subok na and has quality products and di taga sa presyo? Do you have a name I can approach bukod sa name ng store? Thanks in advance!
Is that wrong? I don't find using SUVs as a status symbol any less wrong than people who can't drive a sports car fast.
And it's not only in the Philippines. Take a look at the Land Cruiser. What was designed as a rugged workhorse evolved into a luxury SUV (still with offroad capabilities) because that's what the market wanted.
Pickups have also followed the same route, and for these PPVs, the market responds positively to big SUVs with rugged frames but comfortable rides and plush interiors. Of course, PPV's won't be as comfy as a car-based crossover, but they've improved leaps and bounds.
Comparing AU to the PH is also quite unfair. That's a first-world country where people who want luxury can oftentimes afford a luxury SUV. In the Philippines, even a lowly Fortuner is already an expensive car for most, and Filipinos would want a do-it-all car since they can't really afford having different cars for different purposes.
And for that reason, PPVs are the best-selling vehicles in the country north of 1M because they're jacks of all trades. Not as luxurious as a Camry, not as rugged as a Hilux, not as spacious as a Hiace, not as quick as an 86, but a bit of all rolled into one.

Shall we agree with the rest of your statement except for the fact that I didn't say its wrong? I find it amusing pa nga bro. Its a fact but not prohibited. To each his own.
Anyway BTT, I don't see anything wrong with comparing Australian comparos with PHL comparos. As I've said, these are utility vehicles and there are people out there who use it as such. Tama naman na hindi lang dapat puros pagandahan ng sounds at rims ang comparos. These products should be tested as such. Siguro dapat mag level up din ang local media at ang mga manufacturers.
Pero sa mga mayayabang na pinoy who use this as status symbols, okay na siguro ang paper specs.![]()
i see nothin wrong with that. the kind of suv rides with the stature of the owner. pera naman nila pinambili nila. so anu kasasama ng loob mo?
Yung ibang pinoy kasi pag nakakita ng pickup na sobra linis at equipped with bling blings eh sinasabi na sana hindi na lang sya nag pickup dahil it defeats the purpose of having one, pero para sakin ok lang pera nya naman yun and as long as hindi ako naoffend nung tao like sinilaw ako ng led bar etc.
outside the casa parts and servicing? fort or everest? how true is it that everest ford parts are expensive?
Ok, so I just saw Niky's Top Gear PH video of the new Fortuner. So my question to you niky is this: which of the new PPVs is the best for you? Everest, Montero, or Fortuner? Which has the best value for money, the best interior, the best riding comfort and the best acceleration among the 3 new PPVs? We're talking about the TOTL variants of the 3 PPVs
Sadly, I am one of the few motoring writers who has not even set foot inside the Montero Sport.
Between the Fort and the Everest... the Fort seems to have the better performance (remember all, despite the 200 hp 3.2, the Everest is a big, HEAVY car) and possibly slightly better handling. The Everest has a better ride and more cabin space. In terms of interior materials, it's hard to judge without putting them side by side. I might give it to the Everest, though... and the Titanium package with the extra goodies is incredibly hard to beat.
If the new Monty improves upon the trucklike ride of the old one (yes, the old Monty was soft, but it was somewhat jiggly) as much as the others are saying it does, I'd say it has a decent chance against the Fort. Was not all that impressed with the interior or drive of the new Strada, but both the new Fort and Monty seem to be a step above their pick-up twins... and the new Strada is still using the old 2.5... so I have to with-hold judgment until I get a proper go in the Montero.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
