Bro, that was way back during the World of Toyota event last Sept. I don't know what promos they have now. I do know that Toyota QA and Toyota North Edsa accepts trade in but at buy and sell prices. Well they do have to make money on your trade in car. I also know that the Avanza has no promos since its a new model.

Ok po ba yung avanza na 1.3J considering its price of 582K and the actual unit? Nakita ko kasi yung display, at all i can say is very bare yung 1.3J and if you look at the interior medyo crappy yung materials na ginamit sa upholstery ng sidings at roof, vinyl yata yung ginamit. Pero considering that this will ride 7 persons comfortably pwede na rin siguro. The 1.5G models are good, but if you have a tight budget would you consider getting the 1.3J. What do you think mga tsikoteers? One more thing, ano po ba fuel consumption nito sa city at highway driving? Thanks.

Btw, medyo mahal din ang seatbelts and I don't really recommend buying the seats only.

Yes the interior is cheap looking. It is aimed at the fleet/taxi market.

sir otep sabi nung marketing agent na nakausap ko 3rd row seats are included in the 1.3J. kaya siguro medyo cheap yung interior because they intend to have this variant for the taxi market. anyway meron ba silang balak na maglabas ng 1.3E model just like the vios?

sir otep, considering na meron third row seats yung 1.3J at yung primary purpose is for hauling family members (utility at mobility) secondary na lang yung aesthetics (porma at interior), do you think it's worth the price? sori po medyo makulit ako, balak ko kasi kumuha ng avanza at newbie ako sa mga cars kaya im soliciting your expert assessment. thank you in advance.

Hindi rin ako masyado particular sa aesthetics. If you think the Avanza fits your needs, I don't think it's a bad car.

Sana lang hindi mag-sag yung vinyl door panels like they do on some Corolla XL units na vinyl din ang door panels. Hindi naman siguro ito mahirap ayusin (this happens to Nissan Patrol Safaris all the time).

A decent set of wheels (e.g. from a higher model or from the Vios) will do wonders to improve the vehicle's appearance. The standard hubcaps on the 1.3 does not have any protection against theft and will probably be stolen early on. They just clip on to the rim face and can be removed with a half decent tug.

if it's a replacement for my L300FB, ok na ok! softer ride kahit wala power options. but I think 5 seater lang yun bare unit.

1.3J is 7 seater. However, for taxi units, they remove the 3rd row seats. Just a couple of bolts.

The base model for consumers like us is the Avanza J, going at Php 582K. It has the third row seats thereby making it a 7 seater.

There is another base Avanza model which is going to be sold for taxi operators and fleets only. It will only be available in color white and will NOT have the third row seats. Php 565K.
