October 17th, 2011 06:47 PM #43AFAIK the Prado has the best off road capabilities among the three and is better than the Fortuner due to the superior transmissions available. Now if the gas mileage of the Suburban is OK with you then go with it. It SHOULD be better than most other American SUVs with similar engine sizes due to the cylinder shutoff system.

October 17th, 2011 07:30 PM #45The Suburban and the Tahoe share the exact same engine. Hell they're so similar it seems the only difference is the length! And yes, AFAIK the Suburban does have Active Fuel Management. You can check it out in the net.
