March 16th, 2017 03:09 PM #1MUX is just too dated to choose bet. a Montero and a Fort. It's euro 2, it's engine is louder. This is a 2013 model. As compared to the two PPVS which are 2016.
The only time you should consider this if you need a backup PPV for your main PPV, assuming you're going for solid PPV cars in your garage. This is a trend nowadays din nman with owners keeping their 1st Gen Forts as back up to their new Fort. it's practical and you have cars that will have higher resale value in the future.
Mux is also better if you have a farm or ancestral home in the orovince. Use this for that purpose and keep your Fort or Monty for your office commute. That's a good distribution of resources.
But to pit MuX against the other the two, or even the Everest, dapat 2nd choice na lang.

March 21st, 2017 01:38 AM #2But for 4x4 option i definitely go for montero. Coz its capable of AWD option. Not like mux and fortuner you cannot use its 4x4 at highway for traction during raining. Or climbing and decending zigzag road on slippery rainy season

March 28th, 2017 01:15 PM #4Ang problema sa MUX parsng nagiging crosswind xuv sa paningin ko habang tumatagal. It has no prestige value whatsoever. But i also want one in the future as it can be a beater car. Very durable vehicle the likes of the Russian Lada Niva

March 28th, 2017 04:28 PM #5The Trailblazer already has a major facelift, complete with new face and dash. The MUX still soldiers on in its original form, albeit with minimal updates like what IPC typically does with its cars over the years. Hopefully they would at least bring in the 180hp/430Nm version available overseas. Isuzu has the proven reliability/durability card going for it with most of the competition using all new engines.

March 28th, 2017 09:26 PM #6Knowing Isuzu not really as a passenger car manufscturer but more on the workhorse type with their trucks. Expect this exteriror to last 10 years more,
But there is hope, they are phasing out the crosswind. That means a new model js coming. It may rival the hot-selling Innova. So expect a diesel crossover in the price of the Innova but at comfort level of the likes Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe.

May 21st, 2017 10:15 AM #10On the cabin noise issue with the MUX, how does it compare with the the previous Monterosport model particularly sa expressway? The previous gen Monterosport is what we use currently.
Same issue here.
