I just told my Mom that I want a pick up I need some more convincing. She told me to take account of the following?

Registration cost? Is it the same as an SUV? Maintenance cost PMS?

Registration is the same as an SUV. Maintenance cost would be 30% costlier than your current car. Fuel savings may outweigh the cost of maintenance. and the Peace of Mind in the the rainy season is priceless.

Gas, mas matipid sa maintenance at walang nasisira na turbo kagaya sa diesel :-)

If you don't take care of your car, gas or diesel, merong masisira at masisisira. Knowing cathy, maingat naman siya so i dont think the Turbo maintenance is a let down,

What if you wait for the Ford EcoSport?
It has a 550mm wading depth and should cost as much as Focus
It should be maneuverable in the city because it is quite small
