    2013 Hilux 2.5 E 4x2 Dsl M/T = P977k
    2013 Strada 2.5 GLX 4x2 MT = P985k

    - Which is a better? In terms of the following:

    1. Reliability
    2. Maintenance - Ease and Cost
    3. Fuel Efficiency
    4. Ride Comfort
    5. Overall performance

    - What are the common problems for the Hilux or Strada, if any?

    - What are the advantages and disadvantages of driving a pick up?

I am choosing between the 2014 full model change Altis or a pick up. Because of the worsening flood situation in Metro Manila, maybe it would be more practical to drive a taller vehicle?

I am also thinking of adding a campershell. I know, I know

Also, does anyone have any idea of the cost of TVSS? The Hilux does not include it kasi.

I have no idea sa mga pick up but since your a loyalist sa Toyota, take the hilux.

Tapos if your after a monsoon vehicle, get the 4x4 version kasi it has more height and grip (4x4) if needed.

Same situation here. Looking to get a Vios, already reserved but after the recent flood, bago isip bigla.
Kelangan talaga mejo mataas na dahil ang tagulan saten ay kalahati ng taon.
BTW according to my research, max flood height:

    Hilux 700mm
    Strada 500mm
    Wildtrak 800mm
    Jimny 650mm

    Mas mataas pala sa hilux.

I cannot go beyond P1M so 4x4 is not an option If there were no budget constraint I would get a Montero talaga.

Ha ha ha! Nope yung lowest variant nasa 1.2M na. 800k lang talaga budget ko. I can stretch to P1M but definitely cannot go beyond that. Hassle nga kc I was planning on getting s matic for my next purchase. Mukhang manual na namam bagsak ko.

^ maganda manual ng strada, hindi pa ako namatayan ng makina. Sa ranger ko namamatayan ako minsan.

10k pms of my strada costs about 9k. Basta di lalagpas ng 10k.
