I was opting vios / city... but then mazda2 and accent came into this thread.

I find mazda2 prices quite high as w/ city...

Due to heat lately, w/c unit's aircondition is most reliable?

Isn't avanza 1.3 a gas guzzler since having heavy body?
I heard the Avanza 1.3J has nearly non-existent sound insulation daw. Maingay sa loob. Reasonably cheap 2nd hand cars may not be reasonably healthy, so I suggest you not judge it by this aspect.

In terms of equipment, the 1.5 Avanza is... decent. But still tinny and lacking insulation. The 1.3 Avanza's dashboard looks like it came off a 1980's taxi, the ride ain't great and climbing power with a full load is... questionable. It'll get there, but it's not going to be happy.

If you find the Mazda2 and City expensive, then you don't really have much choice. The only "cheap" subcompact (not mini) cars that are decent and under 600k are the Vios and Accent, but those are taxi spec. Above 600k, most of the good choices are 670k plus. (Fiesta 1.4 Trend and Mazda2)

AC is only as good as the tint you use.

    Sir Niky,

For 700t max budget, your top two would be mazda2 and fiesta?

Depends on what you want. Fiesta will probably fit you best.

same engine po ang 2003 altis 1.8G and 2005 rav4 1.8? do they have the same FC? same comfortability?

Jut came from a game lastnight, when a friend told me he's selling his 2003 altis at 300T, 1.8G matic w/ 32T mileage... I thought parang mura na, it the price fair? what would be it's FC?

Yes, AFAIK the Rav4 also uses the 1ZZ engine. Sa mileage palang OK na yung Altis deal basta alam mo OK ang condition. 300k is pretty cheap, actually. Basta kaibigan mo talaga yan ah! Yun nga lang 2003 pa...

If he's the first owner and there are records to back up the low mileage then that is quite good a deal. Otherwise, take a closer look at the car before deciding.
