Apektado din ba ang Ford pati mga units nila? Like Fiesta, Focus, etc. Is it possible na ibenta ng mga manufacturers ang mga unit nila as brand new? Sorry for the newbie question.

yung Honda din yari na daw, barkada kong all his adult life empleyado ng Honda, nag resign na, kahit ano daw galing mo magbenta at manguha ng reservation wala rin nangyayari kasi walang unit na maibigay..
I was in a Honda showroom a few days ago to inquire for a Honda City and wala na silang display ng City. Jazz na lang. Mukha lang lethargic yung mga sales people. Probably iniisip nila magpapasko tapos wala silang unit na maibenta so wala rin silang commission.
According to this article, Honda maybe out of supply by December.

Salamat sa mga input nyo http://5175.voxcdn.com/forums/images...es/biggrin.gif. Sana walang magbenta ng Thai-flooded units dito sa aten as "Brand New".
As far as I know, Ford walang problema. Others meron (Toyota, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Nissan, Honda)
Hmm, you mean ba manufacturing plants ba??...
Mitsubishi has plants (active as of Nov 2011) in Japan, Philippines, and Thailand
Subaru has plants (active as of Nov 2011) in Japan (don't know sa ibang lugar sa Asia)
Suzuki has plants (active as of Nov 2011) na gumagawa ng kotse in Japan, India (tawag dun Maruti), China (not sure), Indonesia, Pakistan..
ONLY Honda is still suspended, since their plant was severely flooded. THe rest only suffered part shortages...
Mitsubishi Motors resumes operations at Thai plant
LAEM CHABANG, Thailand (Kyodo) -- Mitsubishi Motors Corp. restarted production Monday at its plant in Thailand after being forced to suspend operation there for about a month because of flood damage to its local suppliers.
As two other Japanese automakers Nissan Motor Co. and Mazda Motor Corp. also plan to resume output at their Thai plants, three of eight Japanese automakers operating in the country will normalize their production following Thailand's worst flooding in decades.
Toyota Motor Corp., the largest Japanese automaker, plans to restart local production on Nov. 21.
Of the eight Japanese automakers, Honda Motor Co. is the only company whose vehicle manufacturing plant was flooded. But the seven other automakers have also halted production by Oct. 20 as many parts manufacturers suffered damage by the flooding, causing disruption to supply chains.
Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan and Mazda managed to resume production by Monday by procuring parts through such means as manufacturing them in Japan.
Mitsubishi Motors President Osamu Masuko, who visited Thailand last week to prepare for the resumption of output, told reporters, "We have been able to restart production earlier than we thought thanks to efforts by parts manufacturers."
"We'd like to redeem a loss in the past one month," he said.
Mitsubishi Motors' plant in Laem Chabang, southeast of Bangkok, was not damaged in the massive flooding, but as local parts suppliers were hit by the disaster, output at the plant has been put on hold since Oct. 13, the company said.

Hindi namin daw apektado ang Isuzu Phelippens.... O di vah! ;)
In fact, over-production daw sila ng mga jurassic-park na Crosswind (pili pa kayo anong variants, whether you like it or else, you will find them ahoho), at mga garantisabog na never-ending facelifts after facelifts lumang hinDMAXsiado with matching low discounts
Definitely Honda was the most affected. Came from their showroom today. Due to the tight supply, they're even making it mandatory to sell Honda Jazz with the uber-expensive 60k AVT package. Ridiculous... but it's the only way you can buy a Jazz. The supply was tight enough that they wouldn't even budge in offering discounts for a straight-cash Jazz offer. For those interested, I inquired at Honda Quezon Avenue and Honda Kalookan (we're famous there for buying 3 CRVs in one visit LOL.. you know, the tax loophole of the 2nd gen CRV :naughty2
So peeps.. sa Elantra na kayo! Bwahaha! :naughty2:
