Sir Fireproofjat, new car owner lang po ako and I got Suzuki Vitara GLX.. I cannot comment on Long term reliability and maintenance costs (I have doubts dahil sa dami nyang accessories and added functionalities.. maraming pwedeng masira at i-maintain).. Part po na pwedeng i-ready nyo and i-mindset..
Sa space, panalo po sya for family of 3.
Front and Rear sensors are also good kasi hirap ako mag assess ng distance lalo na sa masisikip na parking.. Meron syang hill assist at brake assist.. Di ko pa na test pero nice to know na meron syang 6 airbags..
Other than that, hindi na logical yung reason bakit ko gusto yung napili ko.. Follow your heart.. Basta gusto mo mapapanindigan mo.. Hehehe
Kung sa Eastern part ka Sir, you can check Suzuki Taytay..

August 1st, 2019 03:26 PM #23Given the choice, id immefiately say vitara among the two, especially since #1 is long term. We have no idea how mg will fare on our roads and how robust they will make the servuce network, especially on parts. So just on that, i'd pick the vitara.
Since you own a honda, have you checked out the brv? In that price point, it think the only service item you'd need to be concious of is the cvtf replacement. Space wise, i think it is an ample 5 seater for adults. I cant recall is they added a +2 seat config 3rd row here, but if they did, i personally would only use them for emergency on short trips.
Good luck in your purchase. Ü

A crossover at 1.1M budget will pop up options like a 7 seater MPV or a diesel pick up. Both have decent ground clearance and better cargo space. Though the size of a crossover fits perfectly for small, tight parking spaces in the metro and they do have more horses under the hood for its built.

We've been in a situation recently where we had to scout for a crossover with that budget.
So between the Vitara and the Kona, I'd pick the latter.
Yes, the space are decent on both vehicles.
Vitara has a cheaper looking interior, touchscreen (distracting), and a smaller engine, although it has a slightly better ground clearance (not much though), has leather bits in the interior and rear camera...
I'd take a better engine than a parking camera and leather any day. The Kona is no slouch with its performance. Pwede ka pa makipagsabayan sa mga ibang compact cars with 2.0L that's substantially more expensive.

Pero mga Boss.. 1.1 M budget daw ehhh.. Gusto ko nga din mag Kona or Kia Soul dati kaso di na pasok sa 1.1M.. Tama ba ako Kia Seltos na yung ipapalit sa Kia Soul?

sabagay.. hahahaha
naaalala ko pala isa pala sa rason kung bakit di ko napili hyundai at kia dahil korean company.. tapos nabanggit lang mas hassle daw humanap ng piyesa.. kaya pala napa-Vitara ako dahil may history yung Vitara variant, tapos Japan company kahit papano.. Hehehe
Pero maganda talaga Kona at Seltos.. Kia Soul din nagandahan ako..
