November 1st, 2008 02:33 PM #41I have driven the new Lancer and believe me, it feels like driving a Formula 1 (as if i have driven a F1 car before) not because of peformance but it seems like I've lost 2 lbs already because of the matagtag issue again... hehehe.. Sorry for sharing this...

thanks niky! well, in that case, if i were choosing....new Focus TDCi na! Hehehe.. sorry OT.
hmmm...2 lbs, the wifey will love it! but still don't get it, di pa ko nakaka-drive kasi ng Formula 1. para mas down to earth, how 'matagtag' is it compared sa, say, a Jimny?

Not as much. I didn't think it was "matagtag" when I drove it... but a short test drive on proving grounds just doesn't match pothole-hurdling on city streets. I did feel some stiffness, but it's what you'd expect of having 18" wheels (on the EX).
Mhmmm... Jimny... I still want one... despite the harsh ride, it's an interesting toy...

Ganda nga ng bagong Lancer ngayon at di pa masyadong nagkalat sa daan. Pero kung para kay esmi ay boto ako sa Civic.

Since you got this 2nd hand, its a good idea to change the drive belt (its cheap anyway). Also...
