Civic EK ba? What year model? If automatic, ask the previous owner if the tranny was religiously maintained. 90s era Honda AT is not as reliable and are prone to sliding if ATF not changed regularly.

don't think of the acquisition price. that's the easy part.
think of the maintenance down the road. jan potentially sasakit ang ulo nyo.
that's probably why the wigo is more expensive. "better build."

i have a 2014 wigo with over 40K km. it still runs fine. cheap to maintain. nothing to repair.

there are two types of maintenance..

1. preventive maintenance like fluids and brake pads.

then

2. repair maintenance. pulleys, bearings and maybe compressors and starters and cluctch packs. wiper motors, power window motors. relays. etc etc.

both are almost similarly priced to your toyota and honda. though for toyotas meron chinese options kaya sometimes mura.

bookmark mazford on fb. they can supply most of your ford parts.

For 2015 glx, check mo kasi kay dalawang versions ang mirage 2015 glx. First half of the yr walang abs, while later half has it.

2013 gls has the biik issue on the starter motor pero the baches are from 2012 to early 2013 only.

Picanto, no comment pero sya pinaka bata if the odo reading is really TRUE. So picanto only if it is really true.....

Yung picanto daw po is bihira magamit dahil father nya lang ang driver which is jeepney driver. Once lang na PMS dahil sobrang bihira daw gamitin. They’re selling it to get a bigger one.

Mas matakot ka kung walang negative comments. Lahat ng kotse may cons.
I think may mga nabasa ka na galing din sa akin. Pero yun ay mostly galing sa experience at first hand info. I was just being blunt about it tbh. No sugarcoat.
The mirage stayed with me for 5 years. Kung pangit talaga, matagal ng napalitan.
Basic maintenance is cheap as you can source parts na sa banawe.

Anyway, to answer your question.
2013 gls, yes, big deal yon kasi skandaloso ang pag start ng kotse. And since tapos na ang 5 yrs warranty, gagastos ka para mapalitan.

Deal breaker ba walang aba? Not for me imo. Pero it is a feature that is nice to have.

Picanto - 4 yrs old na isang beses pa lang na change oil? Di kaya malapot na yan? Kung a/t yan, do an atf dialysis at once.

I dont have exp with picanto. But my wild guess is pareho lang silang reliable. Pretty sure may mga cons din yan. Check the forums or fb.

If picanto is legit 1st owner, i would prolly get it. BUT, bring a mechanic to fully check it. Just be prepared na baka may oil sludge na sa tagal na di napapalitan ang oil (engine). At transmission lalo na pag a/t.
