hello guys hope someone could help me here, i bought a car kasi, kaso hindi nakapangalan ang car sa binilihan ko hindi daw niya pinatransfer sa name nya kasi ibebenta na din nya kasi magaabraod na cya bale naka open deed of sale po cya, pero match naman lahat ng details sa cr at or engine/ chassis no. etc. at hindi naman tampared, the problem is open deed ng cya tapos hindi siya notarized ang signed lang eh yung vendor, ang documents na nasa akin 3 copies of orig open deed of sale, orig cr and or, tpl at photocopy lang ng drivers license ng first owner. ano gagawin ko fill up nalang deed of sale? pwde ba yun kahit di notarized? pwde ba ako nalang mgpanotarized? whats the best thing to do thanks...

if you plan to transfer ownership and register at the same time, would you need to pay the amount stated in the new OR plus the amount in the new CR? coz that way, the transfer costs almost as much as 1 year registration

you would need to:

pay the amount in the OR which represents annual registration costs and
pay the amount for the new CR, representing transfer of ownership costs.

yes, medyo magkadikit sila ng price. around 2k for each.

since the deed of sale that you are holding now came from the first owner, it would look like that the first owner sold the car to you.

since its not notarized, you can have it notarized na lang dahil it should be notarized...

walang magiging problem dyan bro. just ensure that the deed of sale is notarized, the original OR/CR is with you and some photocopy of the original owner's ID and/or driver's license, which i think you already have in possession.

papayag yan. on notarization, maski non of the parties present is ok. kami nga dito, inuutos lang namin sa messenger ang pagpapanotaryo.

on the ctc #, its either:

a) contact the seller;
b) get a new one under his name (i am also not asking you to do this)
c) pauso ka ng number (although i am not asking you to do this...)

there are lots of options.

are you sure puwede gamitin ang license#? drivers ba?

FYI, hindi na acceptable ang mere ctc's ngayon for notarization purposes pursuant to the new rules for notary publics. madami na notary public ang nasuspend ng supreme court for this violation. and yes, LTO issued driver's license is acceptable as long as there is a picture and signature of the person.
