Help lang, need info. My wife and I planned to buy a second hand car through a Car Dealer. When I ask the dealer through phone txt, if the CR is registered to his name. The dealer said it was still registered to the first owner. Papaano po kaya ang maging proseso para mai-transfer of ownership sa amin pangalan kapag binili na namin ang car? Gusto ko lang malinawan.

same amount lang pala inoffer sa akin. kala ko mahal yung sa akin. kaso need ko pa daw appearance sa pnp clearance. :D

first time ko kasi mag process kaya medyo kabado.

what do you think mas reasonable:

1. paying 5k then yung dealer na mag asikaso ng change ownership pero may appearance pa rin ako sa pnp-hpg

or

2. from makati (location ko) to pnp-hpg pasay to lto navotas (mother file ng lto)

Location is near LTO - pasay and opposite side ng terminal 4/cebu pacific cargo. kumuha ako ng change ownership form. fill up ko then balik sa window. bigyan ka nila ng deposit slip and paid it in landbank roxas blvd. went back again sa pnp-hpg and submit all requirements. open hood para sa stencil, etching and picture taking ng hepe ata nila. you have the option kung balikan mo after 3 days or kukunin mo agad. ako kinuha ko agad (waited 1-2 hours)

after i got my pnp clearance, went straight to lto - navotas (mother files ko andun). submit all requirements. in my case, wala ako tpl at dun pa ako kumuha which is mahal sa lto (930 pesos). nag pa stencil ulit then wait lang for 1-2 hours ulit.

madali lang mag pa change ownership. medyo hassle lang ang mag bayad sa landbank kasi medyo malayo pa.

why not tie-up with the banks around the vicinity?

by the way, yun po plang last registration ay 2013 ata, kpag ganun po b eh kelangan ko p din register yun years n d nman sya ginamit? thanks po ulit.

Ask the bank in where the prospect car you want to acquire. On how you can change or transfer of ownerships under your name before buying it in cash. And if they will be the one or not to process it for you.

Hi good day! May same problem po ako, may car kame gusto na namin ibenta 1st owner kaso nakapangalan pa sya sa father ko (deceased) possible kaya na mabenta namin sya kahit sa kanya pa naka-name? Nka-register yun car sa Lipa Batangasa and i live in QC.. If ever po na itransfer namin sya sa name ko pwede ba sya ma-process kahit saan malapit ng LTO branch? or kung possible nga na mabenta namin sya kahit hinde na namin itransfer sa name namin? i heard na marami po requirements kapag itransfer sya sa name ko.. Please advise po maraming salamat!

Mga sir magtatanong lang sana.. May bibilin akong sasakyan pero dalawa yung name sa OR/CR.. Situation is yung isa lang sa name dun ang katransact ko and siya ung nagbebenta ng oto.. Sabi nya wala na siyang contact dun sa isang nakapangalan sa OR/CR so hindi kami makakakuha ng ID and signature nun.. Question is mapapatransfer ko kaya yun sa name ko na ang meron lang ako is ID and signature nung isang pangalan?
