Procedure of Change of Ownership

pwde na rin po ba sa Pasay nko magpa-change of ownership khit ung old registration nya ay sa LTO main sa east avenue?mas malapit kc kmi sa Pasay eh,tnx nga pla syo Jeff....

hindi na kailangan ng TMG clearance kung di mo rin lang papa-change owner OR/CR lang kailangan mo tsaka kahit sang LTO branch pwede mo pa-renew yan, IMHO

Need help regarding my situation:

Bought our car from a third-party reseller. 50% down, balance payable over two years. The car's ownership was transferred to the creditor.

A few months after that nagparehistro ako with the reseller's help. Non-appearance ginawa namin. Humingi sya ng extra money dahil originally naka-rehistro daw sa Ilocos at kelangan ilipat. So after spending almost 5k naayos naman lahat at nakuha namin ang stickers and OR. The CR went to the creditor.

A year after that nagparehistro uli ako. The car is still under the creditor's name. Sabi ng reseller fax na lang daw nya CR sa akin at ako na bahala. Walang problema when I had the car registered at Pasig. 100 petot as usual change venue. 2500++ plus 3 hours wait tapos na ako.

This month final payment na namin. We'll be getting the deed of sale from the creditor. Then I'll be jumping through hoops sa TMG at LTO para magpa-change of ownership. Sa tingin nyo may problema pa kaya?

tingin ko wala, since you have already registered your car pero wala pa sa pangalan mo.

it is to be triggered by the deed of sale + yung original CR galing sa creditor. tingin ko naman yung CR and deed of sale eh hold lang ng creditor until you are able to pay the balance eh.

Yep the creditor will hold the orig CR and deed of sale until the final payment is made.

If I read the threads right I have to prepare around 1K para sa change ownership? May TPL na kasi ako sa last rehistro and I can bring it to the LTO if needed. June pa kasi due ang rehistro ng oto.

Ung renewal fee will be 1 thou plus, basta less than 2 thousand. Sakin kase sabay sa change of ownership. Total fee ko is P1,800 kasama na renewal so bawasan mo na lang ng konti siguro. I think mga P1,400 sa renewal if I'm correct. Dagdag mo pa ung TPL insurance na P750.

nak ng teteng!!!ang mahal pala ng quote sa amin ng LTO tagig branch,3,500 ang hinihingi pra sa renewal lng,2maas n daw kc lahat,emmision test daw is 500 ksma na lagay hndi n daw dadaan s proseso,TPL daw is 800 tama po ba?hndi ko lng naitanong ung macro-etching ska may bayad po b tlga pag change location?i mean sa main kc ung nkalagay sa OR/CR,tinatamad n ung erpat ko pumunta sa main kc malayo so dun na kmi sa LTO Tagig khit madaming buwaya,fair na po ba ung 3,500 daw sa renewal lng,clear n daw lhat yun aantayin mo n lng ung result....pls help,tnx
