Ohh.. do you think na hindi advisable para sa new driver ang MT na FD? Now I'm considering to get an AT.. XD

Naah~ Sanayan lang yan! If this is your first car, then you will have nothing else to compare to, which means walang problema sayo mga matitigas na clutch. How do you think those who learned to drive in jeepneys and trucks fare?

The first manual car in the family I've driven is the Revo diesel. Uptil now it is still the only manual car in the house. Many people complain na mataas at matigas daw clutch niya pero hindi naman ako nagkaproblema. When I drove my uncle's 2012 Isuzu IPV, sabi nila mataas daw ang clutch. But I found it very soft and easy to manipulate!

Coming from a HiAce, I find the FD MT's clutch pretty soft hahahaha :D

Balik MT na uli ako. Lol. Anyways, nabaha ba sa New Manila, QC?

Mahal daw magpagawa noon. I know, may pros and cons ang mga sasakyan brand new man or used car, wala namang perpektong sasakyan (meron ba? xD).

    TIA Tsikoteers!

Although for those who have replaced it already, there should be nothing else to worry about. This is much discussed in the Civic threads.

    Quick Update:

    TIA!

Well... It may have to do with age as well.

Hyundai Accent? Yung 1.4? Matic ba o manual? It has been involved, lalo na mga matic, in knocking issues before as well as claims of being thirsty at the pump. But then they have quieted down in the recent months, which should mean that the ECU update made to rectify this worked. It has been selling like hotcakes despite the notorious issues, as shown by Hyundai's sales charts which should mean that its safe to buy one now. Its a thoroughly modern car with good space and a sizeable trunk, though with a rather soft suspension. If you've seen a unit you like, test drive first.

If you really like the car, that's what I suggest you do.

Its much more powerful and fuel efficient, though of course not as modern and less spacious.

2005-2007 models na maraming kalawang? May problema yun ah. I don't recall ever seeing any rust in our '04 and '05 Accord, '06 Tribute and '08 Santa Fe, all of which are within that age range. But that is a sign that it has been flooded, and the flooring neglected for some time before being serviced resulting in the rust. Though that in itself is not a big problem, you must take extra caution to make sure that it has no other problems with the electricals and mechanicals. If there were other units, I'd avoid that.
