Don't expect it to arrive on our shores. Well, not unless the legislation passes a bill lowering the costs of hybrids in the country.

Even if it DID arrive on our shores, can you stomach a price tag of Php1.6m? How did I arrive at 1.6M? Take the Toyota Prius price, subtract a few hundred thousands and voila!

The Revo has a high resale value. What he means is that once the Innova is proven fully reliable, Revo prices will start to drop.

CRZ? That will be when the Alternative Fuel Vehicles bill is passed... If ever... Whenever that will be. You can import one through the grey market, though that will be ridiculously expensive. With that sort of money, you might as well get a Toyota 86 and mod the hell out of it and still have some spare change for gas.

Yeah I've read that they are still reviewing about the bill that lowers the cost of hybrid cars.
I will sell the car that i will by this year when it arrives then the profit will be used as a dp. I'm planning to buy a car that after maybe 3-5 years i can still sell it at a price of 320k+.

Yeah, but if you want something like that and are open to grey market cars, you might as well get the Veloster, Optima Turbo or Hybrid. All of them are cheaper than the CRZ.

For now though, I believe you should sell the Revo first if you want a new horse in your stable.

Take it easy pare, wag muna CRZ. Sell the Revo, buy a Jazz MT. Then over time, pimp it up. Just promise me na walang neon LED underchassis lights and we're good na.

(Psst, kilangan mo rin yan panghatak ng chix. Jazz > Revo :naughty2

Hahaha now i learned about the grey market haha.
    Thank You Sir!
I've made up my mind to continue selling my revo. I think many people will shift to Innova's or avanza's for the next 3-5 years.
If i could request to my parents to add more money I'm thinking of buying the Honda Civic FD. m/t

    Second hand ba?

    FD 2.0S MT.

The clutch is something that needs some getting used to, though.

Pero livable. Puwede rin yung Jazz 1.5 MT, I believe meron yung GD nito.

Taxes. The US has little to no taxes on hybrids. If someone went to the trouble of buying a CR-Z in the US and importing it, it would cost them around 1.8m, already. The extra 500k is their mark-up.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

With your budget now, you can go for an FD 1.8S. Get the manual for better performance and gas mileage. If I were to pick between the this one and the Jazz, I'd definitely get this one. But that is not to say that the Jazz isn't good. Interior room is surprisingly abundant. When I rode in a GD (1st gen) Jazz, front seat space was like a midsize sedan!

For me, the Civic already drives like a midsize sedan (albeit one with a rather firm suspension). Interior materials and feel are getting near Accord quality.

with your budget, civic fd na! 1.8 mt or at. doesnt matter. at is reliable for the FD. used to own one. transmission was never a problem. may isang poster dito nakabili ng FD for 330k ata. 2006 mt. very good buy. basta be patient. dont rush it. its not as fuel efficient compared to smaller cars syempre. if your daily drive is full of stop lights and is bumper to bumper during rush hours (e.rod-espanya), FC can go down as low as 4-5 km/l its pretty bad. my current car is a lancer ex 1.6 and with the same conditions i get 7-8km/l. advantage of the fd over the others is its looks inside-out. yung mga makikita mong 400k sa sulit tawaran mo nalang in person. hanapan mo ng mga minor sira para matawaran mo lalo. pero if ever you really cant find a good deal, lahat naman ng sinuggest ng mga nandito is good.
