Is it necessary to have two amplifiers or just one???

depende sa sub nyo, sir. if power hungry yung sub then i suggest better get a mono amp then another 2ch para sa fronts nyo.

ilan b ang speaker mo bro at ilan ang sub mo?

kung apat ang speaker mo (front and rear), u need 4 channel amp to power them.

and kung 1 lng ang sub mo, u need 2 channel amp.

bale 2 amp nga kelangan mo (4channel amp for the front and 2channel amp for the sub).

kung gusto mo 1 amp lng, ung seps at sub ang ikabit mo sa amp then ung rear speaker mo sa head unit n lng.

you can get a 5 channel amp and it can power all 5 speakers/sub but i doubt that theres any 5 channel amp with a sub channel that can produce a clean 700W RMS so you might as well get 2 amps.1 amp(4channel 50 X 4) for your front and back speakers and 1 monoblock or class D amp for the sub.you dont need a 2 channel amp for a sub.
the question is....can your car handle the extra load?

makikisingit lang po... newbie questions: may i ask if ok yung suggestion ni sir antonmace? kasi po, sa case ko... nakabili na ako ng head unit (pioneer, yung deh1950 lang po)... i still use the stock speakers since working naman lahat.

in a couple of weeks, may parating po kasi akong v12 705 amp (4ch). bale ano po kaya magandang gawin? ipapakabit ko po ba yung lahat ng 4 channels sa front and rear speakers? or front lang i-amp ko para yung 2 channels naka-abang na sa subwoofer? balak ko po kasi maliit na sub lang, mga 8" kasi for my own listening pleasure lang naman po.

*userfriendly: ok sir... bale kanina po may nakita na akong pioneer speakers para sa front (doors)... since swak sa budget at mukhang ok naman specs. so papalitan ko nalang po muna yun front speakers. then pag dating nung v12 budget amp ko, ipapa-amp ko (sa channel 1 and 2) yung fronts tapos yung rear sa HU ko nalang ipapakabit para naka-abang yung channels 3 and 4 para sa sub just like what you have said. so ganun nalang po... i hope maging ok po yung kalabasan. nakaka-excite! thanks po!
