capacitors are connected to amplifiers. HUs need very little current.

Basically, the capacitor eliminates the transient voltage DIP (undervoltage) when high powered amps are being used. Voltage DIP is caused by resistance within the wires from alternator-battery up to the point of connection of the power amps. That is, the higher the current drawn by the amplifier, the higher the voltage drop(DIP). If you don't want to use capacitor, used heavy wire and directly connect to the battery terminals with fuse protection. You can also use 12 volts relay to control the positive polarity going to your amps. The 12 volts relay must be wired so that it will be controlled by the key switch when switched at ACC.

    2. Do I need a capacitor po?

    1. Basically, the battery will provide the additional current required if the total load is more than the maximum output current of the alternator. For this reason, battery will be discharged, thus flickering of light or mahina at basag ang busina. Your power source capacity is under rated based on your actual connected loads.

    2. No, capacitor will work only during transient voltage DIP or under voltage. It will not correct the power requirement of your loads.

    Solution:
    1. Reduce your unnecessary connected loads which will be based on the power output of your alternator.
    2. Give enough time for the battery to be charged.

sir chuaed, san to naka tap / mount? TIA

*three in XE, baka patay na nga yung baterya mo, 15 mos lang yung warranty diba.. check mo na lang kung may tubig pa. search for the thread ng myth ng maintainance free (liquid-type) battery. na discuss kung pano i-revive yung mga MF/LM batteries.
