Sony or Pioneer? (in-dash monitor w/ dvd player)

hi guys, im looking for in-dash monitor with dvd player HU. Alin ba mas maganda Pioneer or Sony? and what model can you suggest. Mas gsto ko kasi in-dash eh, ayoko ng 2 units ko. Pardon my ignorance, when you say in-dash monitor w/ dvd player, insert ka lang ng dvd dba? then another is seperate yung monitor saka player. its for hilux by the way. =) thnx!

Though kung plano mo talaga pagkagastusan ng konti, DEH7850 na lang nga.

Opo, mahal pa nga ata yun eh kasi nakita ko yung sa mall (MG Infinity). Most prolly lower sa car audio shops sa labas.

Most electronic shops here in the US recommend pioneer over sony, mas marami raw returns ang sony. Plus mapili ang sony sa DVD, lalo na pag pirata..the abovementioned pioneer models are great.

the Pioneer AVH-6850DVD cost around 54k, yung higher models will cost you 60k up, eto yung mga all-in-one Head units, kung separate naman, the cheapest DVD headunit in the market is priced at 12.5k (JVC and Kenwood), tapos yung pinaka mura na monitor(pop out) is 8k di ko sure yung brand, kung gusto mo naman ng fully-motorized 10-12k AVT yung brand, kung Pioneer monitor naman the last time i check ang price nya is 35k (fully-mot)

dude, basta DEH ang model, hindi siya dvd player. cd lang. kaya 12k lang ang DEH6850.

I only got the dvd head units. 2 pioneers and one sony.
comparing the two:
pioneer cost more but with more features. harder to use because of the added features. It has Q adjustment and sub frequency adjustment (something the sony does not have) one year waranty.

sony : 8 k cheaper. has relatively equal sound quality. 2 year waranty. have no problems with any cd/dvd = pirated orig vcd dvd r dvd rw cd r

if you have the cash do go for the single din all in one with touch screen. the adjustable screen will be better for viewing and will also give a better strain free viewing position due to the higher mounting place. the pay off will be a little distraction for night driving due to the light from the screen. this takes a little time to get used to.
a 2 din unit will always have a lower viewing angle but will be les obtrusive at night.

my unit is only the dvd head unit got a separate in dash lcd
the ones with touch screen and i pod interface should cost 75 up.

that touch screen unit would be equivalent to one dvd head unit one in dash motorized lcd one 10 inch flip down monitor front seps.

ano ba ride mo?
