is this possible mga sir?
just this morning, namatayan ako ng makina due to lack of electricity. at hirap nang magstart, low-batt!!!
normally kasi walang sounds yun, as in deaf-silence while driving.
then i put in a set-up - HU, V12 amp, 1 boxed Sub, 1 sep. chop chop parts kasi kaya not total sound setup, basta tumunog lang.
Yesterday ko lang napagana totally un sounds then i went out. normal naman ang takbo ng makina, enjoyed the sounds i had. then this morning, nakalabas pa uli ako ng garage. suddenly, ayun na - pagtirik hindi na mastart.
namatay ang makina kasi bumababa ang idling pag naka-AC.
i waited for several minutes pa before trying again. thank God after a while nagkaroon pa ng onting cranking power to start the engine. nauwi ko pa uli un car.
un HU connected as ACC ng ignition.
another observation i got, every time pinapatay ko totally ang car including ACC, narereset un HU ko. Pag on ko iseset ko uli TREB and BASS.
thanks

It's a simple case of too much electrical use and insufficient alternator output. Upgrading sounds almost always means you must upgrade either the battery (use a deep cycle battery) or the alternator (with higher rated output than stock). This ensures that the alternator will charge the battery and provide sufficient current for your needs, and that the battery will not easily be drained.

kung ganun, i might remove the system then go back to default. sisipol nalang ako.

Or may ground?
If you installed a fuse for your system near the battery, remove it. If your car still stalls, I doubt its due to the sound system.

Two choices kasi ang wiring ng Accessory power lead "switch (hot kapag na on ang ignition)and un-switch (palaging on)".
Yong H.U mo dapat kinabit sa switched power para hindi ma-drain ang battery mo at turn-on lamang ang H.U kapag on ang ignition . Malamang yon H.U ay naka kabit sa un-switch power lead kaya na di-drain ang battery mo kasi kahit pinatay mo na ang ignition mo at hindi mo na turn-off ang H.U power you are risking your battery.
About your H.U memory lead ay mali din kinabit. Dapat sa un-switch source kinabit para hindi ma-erase ang memory kapag turn off ang H.U and ignition kasi kahit off ang H.U or ignition that memory ay still there, hindi nawawala. Malaki ang kutob kong sa switch source naka kabit ang memory lead dahil mawawala lahat ang nilagay mong setting, nag re-reset or memory lost ang H.U kapag off ang ignition.
Accessory power lead----connect to switched
Memory power lead-------connect to un-switched
Power amp ground- also use 8 gauge or bigger and strip all paint where you connect your ground and use star washer for better connection. This is important.Last edited by v6dreamer; January 28th, 2008 at 02:34 AM.

Is this for your 1979 Lancer? I think those cars have pretty old alternators with low output levels.
Give us more information - is the alternator stock? What rating? How old? What battery do you use? How old? These things are necessary for people to advice you properly.

memory lead recta sa battery, switch lead sa acc switch. check for loose grounding muna or pa check mo na battery mo. anung size pala ng batterry and how many years of use na?

Tama ang analysis ni afrasay.
Alternator output current = Battery charging + Load current
If load current is more than the alternator output current, then the battery will be forced to supply current to the load. That is, battery will be discharged.
It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
