hiss sa speakers when i hit the gas and ipod question

i use a fm modulator for my ipod.
yung sa cdr king.

when i hit the gas, sa speakers meh tunog na hiss, na lumalakas tuwing i press the gas. this only happens when using the modulator. how do i solve this?

also,
car is is a city idsi, does the stock radio have a AUX in sa back?
or wala? para mag buy na lang ako nung adapter.

hmmm...try to tune the modulator to 87.7 and manually scan using your HU. When I say manual you don't rely on the scan mode of your radio. Might be just off tune by a few khz.

i've read an article about this before and it stated that this usually happens when you plug in an amplifier or any dependent device in your HU that doesn't have any volume controls or something like that...i had the same experience with a low quality amp...nothing solved it so i had to replace the amp...so definitely the hissing sound is because of that modulator...i hope this helps

thanks, i guess last solution is buying a new head unit, w/ an aux in. usb simply won't work, ipod won't work on usb.ordinary mp3 pwede. ipod kc, technical masyado.

madali lang yan, yung akin d naka dikit yung ground wire ko kaya everytime pag accelerate ko may madidinig akong hiss subwoofer ko.. dikit mo yung ground ng stereo or amplifier mo tsaka maglagay ka ng noise supressor para pag acc mo wala kang madinig na hiss sa speakers mo..

i agree on this. ganyan din nangyari sa fx nung tito ko.. maglagay ka ng noise suppressor. actually alam na ng mga car audio shops ang gagawin dyan kaya dalhin mo na lang sa kanila. by the way sa evangelista namin dinala yung fx.

try mo rin check yung ground and also the antenna pero pag hindi pa nawawala baka sa HU mo na yan ipa check mo nlang..
