Mind you that magnets are well... good indicators of bass performance generally speaking. And because of the fact that you can bet that they're using ferrite magnets (neodymium magnets for those component sets costing 6 digits or more) so you can make a simple A/B comparison between speaker A and speaker B.
That's the thing about car audio: it's all about marketing and brands. For starters, your satisfaction is more governed by bias rather than the actual performance itself. In any case, simply be happy with the speakers :D
Kinetic KD6 are simply rebranded MDS Sweden speakers. Is this bad or good? Well... Neither. They might be good because their company has at least researched and invested in engineering them.... and the bad, well... maybe our local OEM manufacturer Targa is better. Kinetic is a locally-grown brand of AMX Tubes owned by Andrew. Their specialty is in home audio tube drivers.. as for their car-audio lineup, I won't be surprised if they're simply rebrands. I like the owner, but I hate their sales team. I kept throwing them moderately-technical questions and they evaded every one of them. Bahh..
Please don't be fooled by their "our KD6 has Bennic capacitors" marketing talk because the ones they use are Bennic PMT caps.. and those are like.. less than $1 per piece. And as with products, there are inexpensive ones and expensive ones.. Mundorf capacitors (probably the most famous audiophile capacitor "brand" worldwide) can range from $10 to $300+ per piece.
MB Quart had their glory days back in the 1990s as a German manufacturer of quality audio components. But after being eaten by Maxxonics USA, well... quality has pretty much degraded. Their former engineers and management has formed a separate company called GermanMAESTRO. Now if I'm in for serious sounds, I'll go look there instead because talent and engineering is everything in car audio.
Dominations is an Indonesian brand with is owned by Wahyu Tanuwidjaja (yeah, I had to recheck my Facebook for his surname). Marketing is pretty good and so is distributor support. Their focus isn't to the cutting-high end but they make great speakers affordable to the masses. Couple that they actually publish T/S parameters, I have faith in their engineering versus generic brands who markets their products with "great tweeters! made of silk!" or something. Personally, I'm a fan of them especially their 2" wideband drivers.
Personal Disclosure: I'm using Focal and Audison in my car-audio setup before people start to think I'm own-brand-bias.
