Hi sirs, I finally got my ocw but I still have my moms spray wax. Will it do any good if I'll apply moms spray wax on top of ocw for added protection or it would be useless? Lets say ocw for every 2 weeks and then moms every week? Thanks!

Ok na naman ako, though I still need to go back to the doctor. Yung car, di pa masyado Haven't had the time to hit it with at least some KAIO to try and get rid of some of the watermarks.

I'm planning to deatil my 3 month old black jazz this weekend, this is my plan,

1. wash with microtex shampoo
2. dry with microtex chamois
3. clay using mothers clay bar kit
4. apply mothers step 1
5. apply mothers step 2
6. apply dupont carnauba wax

ok na ba to? may iba pa akong wax, nanaglos at nanosliq at ocw.

pwede ko pa ba ipatong ung ocw after dupont? or pwede bang after step 2 nanaglos muna then carnauba?

2 of the items di ko gusto yung iba na TW di ko pa nagagamit:
- TW F21 protectant (ok sya non-greasy, CONS: amoy chemical)
- chamois, IMO better buy na MF drying cloth/towel the investment worth than the hassle using chamois.

If you have the time, I'd use Nanoglos in place of Mother's Step 2 - only downside is you need to wait for the NanoGlos to cure prior to applying anything else on top. Should be ok to top the DuPont wax with OCW, as long as the wax is properly cured; having said that, why not just apply it the following week, after the weekly wash? Or perhaps mid-month, as a top-up to the protection? So you'd go:

week 1 - DuPont carnauba
week 2 - NanoSliq
week 3 - OCW
week 4 - NanoSliq

Then repeat.

8hrs po pa lagi ang curing before applying the next step?iniisip ko lang po kasi pag ginamit ko sasakyan before applying the next step,kelangan ko na nman pong linisin and back to the 1st step po ako...pasensya na po,di pa po kabisado detailing..thanks in advance..

I usually apply the 1st coat of wax during the night para pagdating ng early morning pwede na maglayer or proceed to the next step. kapag ginamit naman car you can wash the car or use qd then proceed to the next step.

8 hours daw sir kapag waxes at 12-24 hours daw kapag sealants.

8 Hours po ang curing time ng waxes tulad sa previous post ni sir brawler. Apply Turtle wax, then 8 hours curing time, then Nanogloss, then 8 hours again, then NanoSliq. Pero I believe Nanogloss is better than Turtle wax (based from the feedbacks) kaya pwede pong Nanogloss na lang then appy NanoSliq every wash. Based from the tips of our masters in PD, layering a sealant and wax will result to a deeper shine and better protection than layering two waxes. Pero sabi nga nila, "To each his own". HTH!
