Last Sunday afternoon I got my FD back and did some cleaning and detailing...

kakamadali I forgot to clean the black plastic parts

I was very happy the moment I wiped off the Nanoglos. Naging deep yung pagka Habanero Red...

I'm fulfilled about cleaning this one because this was an older car and it was challenging as I did the interior also using Microtex Sunshield, which made the interior look so good and fresh. Also I also regretted not getting into detailing soon enough as yung paint nung FD already has alot of scratches na di na makukuha ng mga quick-fix. Maybe sometime soon I'll have this repainted sa Honda. Talagang love ko tong Habby Red, the exact shade of red I wanted in a car.

IMHO, if you want to have your FD repainted, sa Alex restoration na.

May experience na ako sa repainting ng casa. Never ako na-satisfy. Kahit anong casa.

    * SG - Cge I'll take note of that.

As for 476s sa AutoBisyo nabibili... sa may Southwoods, Laguna.

next pics ko dito yung detailing nung Strada namin... Maybe I'll ask for the help of my Dad and brother because of its size... me canopy pa siya sa likod so its bigger... this one is in grey.

    Hi Guys.

ask ko lang, it's been almost a month old na yung car. the first time i got it, pina paint seal ko sa hillsborough. sabi sa akin it will last atleast for 2 months tapos wag daw sasabunin. unfortunately, sobrang maalikabok dito sa amin, combination of lupa and whitesand so di pwedeng hindi i car shampoo. by the way, 2x a week ako mag wash ng car and naglalagay ako palagi ng 3M imperial hand glaze after.

right now, parang wala na ata yung sealant pero naglalagay pa din ako nung 3M IHG. considered sealant ba itong 3m? may mga nakikita akong hairline scratches na paisa isa at for sure dadami ito soon. normal lang ba yun? anong magandang pang tanggal? tapos ano ang magandang sealant na naglalast ng matagal? maganda din ba itong 3M IHG? nabili ko na kasi ito dati pa before ko pa mabasa itong thread. sayang nga.

    thanks!

Pinaka matibay na Sealant for me is Klasse All in one and Klasse High Gloss Sealant or Carlack68 equivalent.

    Klasse AIO

    thanks for the quick reply.

gamit ko car wash gel is crisscross. nabili ko sa rustans supermarket. nakalagay naman dun na it cleans w/o stripping the wax. ngayon ko lang nabasa yung tamang procedures and yung mga kailngan na gamit. sa tingin ko doon ko nakuha yung mga scratches dahil hindi tama procedure at materials used.

saan nakakabili dito ng klasse products?

Yung Carlack68 and Klasse same product lang yan sir different brands lang.

    eto yung website nila sir

    http://www.carlack68.com/

For Klasse products register kayo sir sa pinoydetailing.com then PM niyo si extremedetail meron siyang stocks.

Sulit yan investment na yan sir 500ml yung Klasse and Carlack and 10ml lang ma coconsume niyo kada application for the entire car. At worst 2 months tinatagal ng Klasse/Carlack

I purchased Klasse twins and Collinite 845 from Autobisyo, pwede rin pick up sa Makati sa kanya. I detailed my black car using this regimen:

    - Wash car with car shampoo (Formula 1)
    - Mother's clay bar
    - Wash again with Optimum No Rinse (ONR)
    - Klasse AIO
    - Klasse SG
    - wait 48 hours (for sealant curing), Wash with ONR then Klasse SG second coating
    - wait another 48 hours, then wash with ONR then Klasse Sg 3rd coating
    - wait 3 days, wash with ONR, then Collinite 845.
    - Maintain the finish with every 2 months waxing of Collinite 845 during summer, then every month waxing during rainy season.

I'm still in the curing stage of the 2nd coating of SG, after I finish the regimen will post pics of the car. Right now, with just the 2nd coating of SG, the car is already exhibiting a brilliant shine. But I saw in a foreign detailing thread that Klasse SG's maximum shine comes out after 3 coatings.

I'm also using the WOWO method of applying Klasse SG, which proves to be effective and time saving as well.

    Mrgunn,

48 hours din ba pagitan ng curing time nitong dalawa:
    - Klasse AIO
    - Klasse SG

ano ba pwede ilagay para mawala ang mga hairline scratches at konting swirl marks? at saan pwede isingit sa procedure?

    thanks!

You can apply KSG over KAIO immediately - no need to wait in between. Curing time for KSG is only 24 hours - in fact, 12 hours can suffice, if you want to apply multiple layers.

Tama si sir umi001, no waiting time between AIO and SG, derecho apply na agad. AIO can already fill in fine scratches and swirl marks as it is. It would help to follow TS advise to wipe in a linear motion, following the flow of wind on the car instead of circular motions, which tends to show a lot of swirls.

The tip I got was to wait for 1 week between coats of SG, but due to my scheduling din I opted to go for 48 hour intervals. The swirl marks was reduced after AIO, then further reduced after 1st coat of SG. Last night I applied 2nd coat of SG and you really have to look hard to see any swirls. This, considering my car is black. I quite excited to do the 3rd coat of SG tomorrow, and then top off with 845 by Sunday. The color also had more depth after just the second coating of SG.

Though to add, nanoglos is a pain to buff off if you let it dry - wipe on wipe off might be better.

Many thanks guys! Big big help. Oh.. Btw, pwede ba habang nagccure eh lagyan ng car cover para hindi mashado dusty yung car or kung hindi nmn dusty no need to wash it before applying the 2nd-3rd coating? May effect ba sa curing process or curing time pag kulob?
